Description
This Mod is under light maintenance.

Updated for 4.*!
As far I noticed no issues found and working as intended on 4.*
did minor error fixes.

Tired of AI spamming habitats? to much work to clean them all up and possible performance drop because of this.

This mod should prevent normal AI from picking first habitat tech.

Following conditions the AI can and will build habitats and get their upgrades.

1: Empires with the Void Dwellers origin start with technology to construct more and research upgrades.
2: Empires with the Knights of the Toxic God origin start with a habitat and can learn the technology to construct more can research upgrades if DLC Utopia is enabled.
3: If the Apocalypse DLC is enabled, empires created by the Horde breaking up start with the technology to construct habitats.
4: Vassals made by players get all the players technology so if you researched Orbital Habitats the AI will get them.

Working with other mods? I don't know you should try but with mod I use I have not seen any issues.

I'm far from experienced modder but if you find out AI still making habitats that are not void-dweller origin let me know and I try to find out why.

Check out my mod collection I use for stellaris.

People with issue.

1: I keep this mod working as long as I play Stellaris.
2: I not gonna update mod because of message. launcher only checks version numbers and say its out of date it will work.
3: if it will no longer working for me and I cannot fix it or dedicated enough to fix it I will remove this mod.
4: so if you see this mod it means it works. its tested with My mod collection and there is information on that page how to set it up.
5: if you have any issues its either load order issue and/or in conflict with a other mod. and you have to chose wich mod you desire more to use if you cannot fix it with changing load order.
6:you can test it by only loading this mod. if it works on its own its clear this mod is not broken.

Note: all my mods are tested on their own or with my mod collection and load order. Beyond that is not my responsibility with any compatibility issues and I will not fix them for any conflict. Feel free to make a patch.

@DarkShade Still able to work, except in the Fallen Empire, you know under what circumstances the Fallen Empire will build Habitats.

I don’t know if it is possible but I will also not change this. I also have little to no time to play let stand modding. For time being I do maintain them to work and thats about it.

Awaken fallen are going to build Habitats now... As they own the tech and don't have to research..
Possible to remove the tech from fallen?

Hmm I din't bother to check it but indeed mod should work just fine as I do not touch anything that involves how habitats work. only touch tech 1 tier of habitats.

funny it all mess start with 1 idiot screaming UPDATE PLZ because version number does no longer match with out bothering to check if mod works or not.

Ill update text but still not gonna update mod just for version bump.
