Introduction
The commando is one of the 4 classes in Ace Of Spades. He is the one most picked by noobs (new people to the game) because he is destructive powerhouse. However, when used by the unskilled person, the commando tends to get picked off by the pro snipers. So, you must learn the weapons, their strengths, and the commando's strategy to use while playing, so you can teach those snipers whose the man.

Weapons
The Commando is a destructive powerhouse, capable of decimating enimies short-medium range thanks to his awesome weapons. However, each of his weapons have a unique tactic that should be used to maximize your success.

--------------------------------------------------------MINIGUN----------------------------------------------------------

The main weapon of the Commando, the minigun does exactly what it is supposed to do, destroy everything. With 100 ammo in one clip, you can go a long time without reloading, and in that time get lots of kills. However, the minigun is loud, and is a beacon to pro snipers (or miners in close quarters) who are accustomed to the sound. So, don't plant yourself in one spot, because that is a death wish. However, one on one, this will completely obliterate and destroy the opponent.

Tips and Tricks;
-Hold on the right click to rev up the minigun before an encounter, to speed up you DPS at the beginning of the encounter.
-Don't try to shoot long range with this weapon, it does best small-medium range.
-Only reload when you are in a secluded spot when no one is around, because it takes a while to reload.

------------------------------------------RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade)--------------------------------------

The mainly used secondary weapon, the RPG is on barreled death-launcher. A solid one hit kill (but sometimes it doesn't which makes me rage) this thing is deadly. Even when hip firing, it is extremely accurate, but the scope improves it slightly. However, compared the the regular bullets fired by other weapons, the actual rocket itself travels slow. In addition, the rocket will start to drop at a range, so you have to angle it upward slightly to hit someone far away. Beware however, this weapon is limited on ammo, and it takes a while to reload after each shot. All in all, the RPG is a must have weapon in almost all gamemodes.

Tips and Tricks;
-In an encounter with another commando, and he or she pulls out a minigun, always go with the RPG. Even if you miss the first shot, the second shot will come quick enough if you dodge most of the bullets.
-Since the Are Of Effect (AOE) is a good size, it is very probable that you'll kill yourself, so beware.
-To hit a running enemy far away, angle in front of the enemy, because of the slower travel speed.

----------------------------------------------Triple RPG--------------------------------------------------------------

Oh, the triple RPG, which I thought was going to be three times the awesomness of the RPG. But, its not. The Triple RPG isn't bad (Ok, it kinds of is) but it is more specialized. Where it had 3 times the amount of ammo in the RPG (Yeah, I can do math) it takes three shots to kill. This is the turnoff, once you get one or two shots off, the enemy probably will start to dodge. However, while this weapon isn't good in TDM, it is better in other gamemodes. This is true because of its ability to rocket jump. This is huge, because now your mobility comapares the engineer himself. You can use it to rocket jump to new heights, like to the top of the hill in multi-hill, and to the enemie's flag in Tokyo Neon. All in all, the Triple RPG isn't too good in direct combat, but is better while using guerrila tactics, which I'll get to later.

Tips and Tricks;
-In any lunar maps, using the triple RPG can send you to extreme hights using the ability to rocket jump and th zero gravity.
-In zombie mode, never pick the RPG. Always pick the Triple RPG, because while the RPG does more damage, they both don't kill, while the triple barreled RPG can be used to get out of danger.
-Better in demolition, because the more ammo count means more rockets to fire.

----------------------------------------------------Grenade-----------------------------------------------------------

The good old grenade. While this works just like a regular grenade would in any other shooter, there is one set back. It doesn't the same explosive radius as the anti-personal grenade. Why this is to be is unexplained. However, the grenade destroys much more blocks then it cousin, the anti-personal grenade.

Tips and Tricks;
-If you hold down the grenade you can throw it farther. However, this lowers the delay of the explosion, and if you wait too long it'll explode in your hand.
-Better in demolition, because of the more blocks it destroys.

----------------------------------------------Anti-Personal Grenade-----------------------------------------------

The Anti-Personal Grenade. Based off of the stick grenade used commonly in the WW2 era, this grenade is a one shot kill. However, it destroys less blocks, so it is not as good in demolition mode.

Tips and Tricks;
-If you hold down the grenade you can throw it farther. However, this lowers the delay of the explosion, and if you wait too long it'll explode in your hand.
-Better than the hand grenade in zombie mode, because it can one hit the zombies.

--------------------------------------------Melee Weapons----------------------------------------------------------

The Commano has 2 melee weapons, the shovel and the pickaxe. The shovel can take out 3 blocks at a time, but takes 3 hits to kill, and hits slower. The pickaxe takes one block out at a time, but takes 2 hits to kill. Personally, I altrenate between the 2, because they are both good.

------------------------------------------Personall Loadout---------------------------------------------------------

I use the following weapons most of the time;
Minigun
RPG
Anti-Personall Grenade
Shovel

I have managed to acheive the most success with this loadout.

Tactics
This section will be about some of the tactics you can use while playing commando to fully maximize your performance.

------------------------------------------------The Living Terminator-------------------------------------------------

This tactic is very simple, because it is the easiest to use. Bascially, you have to be very good at sprayin and prayin. This srategy is used by noobs who are unfamiliar with the concept of being continuaslly sniped. This strategy is good on small maps such as colluseum where your minigun can do huge amounts of damage, bu beware of snipers who can and will quick scope you.

------------------------------------------------Guerrilla Tactics------------------------------------------------------

This is my personal favorite, and probably the most effective. While you're forced to use conventonal weaponry, you can still use the second half of the guerrilla tactics, staying hidden. While this is usually used with the sniper class, it can still be effectiveley used by the commando. For example, in Mayan Jungle, travel around the sides of the map, or on the trees to avoid ground forces. You could even use the Triple Barreled RPG to stay hidden further, but I would not reccomend it, because then you take away the one-hit kill RPG. This will work on most maps, except for maybe Lunar, because of the zero gravity. However, if you can effectiveley use your surrounding and your tools (spade, pickaxe, and blocks) to your advantage, this will be a very effective tactic to use that will improve your success.

--------------------------------------------------Camper--------------------------------------------------------------

This tactic, apart from the first, is the easiest to use. However, it is also the most un-kind. For example, in maps like Atlantis or Colluseum, you dig upwards on to a wall. You don't get ontop of the wall, but just inside the mid-point. Then you crouch down, pull out your RPG or Minigun, and wait. Several thousand times I've been on a kill-streak, only to be killed by a person camping with the rocket launcher. You may argue that this will belong in the Guerrilla Tactics section, but most people think that it is a good idea to use the same place over and over, and that is very predicatble. To use this effectively, one you get spotterd, move over to a different spot, to avoid further detection.
Sources and Thanks
This guide was made by using the knowledge of <.Class X.> Dino Enthusiastic (me) and other Class X members such as Jacob1, IRB Annilator, Jebrim, Metafree, Jack-It-A, Angel of Death, and Maskell. Thanks to them, I was able to get some information, such as info to put into this guide about paticular tactics used to improve their and my performance. I have one final tip. Vary the use of your classes. Use a different class for different situations. That is one thing that will help you succeed above all else.

Um, did you even read this thing? My "Living Terminator" strategy is exactly that. Please make sure you read before giving tips, and I appreciate the enthusiasm, but I thought it was like some kind of "special move" the commando could do, but alas it is not.
