What is a plugin/script?

Downloading Plugins

You can download plugins on the internet, just search for "Aseprite Plugins" and download the ones you like.
You should download it as a .lua file, but if you downloaded a .zip you can just extract it.

Installing Plugins

First, open Aseprite.
On the top left corner, go to "File", then "Scripts" and select "Open Scripts Folder".
Drag your plugin to that folder.
Go back to "File", then "Scripts" and select "Rescan Scripts Folder".
(Or just press F5).

Using Plugins

To use a plugin, on the top left corner, go to "File", then "Scripts" and select the plugin you want to use.
You can also create keyboard shortcuts for your plugins by going to "Edit", then "Keyboard Shortcuts".
