So, now that you know the traits, let's explain things a bit more.

Introducing the Console

In case you didn't know, a lot of games have a Development Console or Cheat Code Entry found by pressing a single or combination of keys. In most Valve games, like TF2 or Portal, the "magic" key is `. In Spore, there is a combination of keys, Ctrl+Shift+C. You'll know you've opened up the console because a window will appear in-game. Click on the typing box, and, if you want, type "help" to explore commands this guide will probably not mention.

Commands

There are many hidden commands in the Spore Console, but you will need only one to do what this guide is implying you will do;

setConsequenceTrait

To use this command, type it in the console, then press space. After that, you have to put the name of the stage you want to change the trait for, then what trait you want to play as. Let's use an example. Here's the command for the Bard trait:

setConsequenceTrait space_bard

Here's the command for being an Omnivore in the Cell stage:

settConsequenceTrait cell_omnivore

Now that you know how to use the commands, let's see the traits and what they do.

Abilities[/b]

Warrior:
Raider Rally-Entices pirates to attack the targeted planet

Ecologist:
Safari Vacuum-Collects samples of all wildlife on a planet

Shaman:
Exit Ticket-Instantly warps you back to your homeworld

Bard:
Soothing Song-Boosts your relationship with an Empire(not counting the Grox) for a short time

Wanderer
Nothing. You shouldn't be a Wanderer.


By now, you're wondering, Well what philosophy do they all follow?
How about I tell you?

Philosophies[/b]

Warriors follow the Philosophy of Force, so they typically pay more for Stones of Force.

Ecologists follow the Philosophy of Life, they pay more for Scrolls of Life.

Bards follow the Philosophy of Chance, they pay more for the Blocks of Chance.

Shamans follow the Philosophy of Faith, they like the Scrolls of Faith,

Wanderers don't have a special Philosophy. Nobody likes them.
