The Demoman nerf should theoretically be irrelevant in MvM, since sticky spam is for human targets that know how to dodge. I use the Scottish Resistance, anyway, and even 'spam' allows the stickies to almost fully ramp up. My initial impression is that I don't have any problem putting up the same numbers as Demo in MvM.

One complaint I have heard is that the coding is bad, and some stickies are duds, i.e. they never reach full damage no matter how long they're out. But, if it's true, it's a bug and should be fixed.

Yeah, this thing is broken beyond belief. I still think Demoknight is not good for MvM... though, to be honest, the stickyspam nerf and the new broken shield made the whole Demoman class... well, balanced for PvP, Demoknights actually on par in terms of usefulness with Demomen, and made it not so good anymore for MvM. Before it was a necessity, now just an option.

Demo is one of the most powerful classes in the game. Nothing wrong with duplicating it. Although I think he went Demoknight. Which is pretty fun on that wave. I tried it on my next run, with the yet-to-be-fixed Tide Turner.
