(F) S.S.H Yellowjacket Fighter

The Yellowjacket is the backbone of the Safe Solar Holdings star-fighter core. Very nimble while also being heavily armed and armored, the ship makes use of hydrogen and ion thrusters. This combination gives the ship the capability for relatively long patrols, while retaining good combat maneuverability.

Armaments:
10 Auto-cannons. A devastating arrangement, auto cannons can rip light craft and even small frigates to shreds in a few bursts.
4 Rocket launchers, for large ships or nearby fighters.
4 armored Decoys are affixed to the wingtips, to guard against short volleys from automated turrets.

Usually manned by drafted pilots, the decent armor and large array of weapons gives the green pilots room for error. However, all pilots are charged for damages to their craft. This system keeps costs low and the pilots indentured to S.S.H, Increasing pilot retention and assuring their is always an ample supply of war fighters.
