Bro 1.4 is long discontinued. Use WSS2 and wabsim. It may not be actual air brakes but it feels more like air brakes than actual air brakes.

could you make one of these that use air to regulate breaks. be a huge help wit my DE2 that is on the workshop. Just want to run a slug with it to stop wheel slip

Ah ok man that makes sense. I'm gonna hack away at it for fun and see what kinda spaghetti noodle code I come up with XD

yes, it will most likely be backwards compatible, however older locomotives will need to have their travel direction and receiving direction specified as they currently do.

We are currently working on a system that can detect which direction the master directions are coming from and adapt input and direction to please it. That will cut down buttons drastically, possibly down to 1 switch, or 2 with a keyboard if we keep the radio systems.

@perdirable, please specify. i assume you are talking about the inputs. i mean it is possible to make the composite switch external, but that would serve little purpose and only add more external logic blocks. If you are referring to the input switches, well yes. there is. but we set them up to be as realistic as possible, as the engine run switch is on the stand and the rest of the controls are not realistic but added due to logic limitations. Therefore, we stash them away somewhere else.

Helping a friend out setting this up. I'm combining all of your composites into one composite. There's really no need for so many different composites when they all fit into one. It will make the controller smaller and simplify setup. Maybe something to add in V1.5 =)
