Information about the drop rates were gathered from DreamHacks own YouTube channel and in the cases where the last round were missing (camera panned to the players in the tournament) I instead downloaded the demos in CS:GO and watched the drop-counter myself.

By summarizing the previous information we get the total amounts of DreamHack 2014 Souvenir Drops per map.

As we can see in the table, the map with the most drops were Overpass.

Through the gathered data I was also able to get the total amounts of drops per team combination. This data will then show us how many e.g. iBUYPOWER vs PENTA Sports dropped during the major.

Use "Ctrl+F" to find how many of a certain team-combination that was dropped.

By scouring through FloatDB I was able to find out how many Souvenir Skins out of every combination of team exists in public inventories.

This was done by searching if both teams "____ (Gold) | DreamHack 2014" sticker is present on a skin.

This does not take in consideration if the stickers have been scratched off.

With the last piece of information I am able to see how many Souvenir Packages that should be left in existence. By subtracting the dropped amount from 2014 with the amount of skins with team sticker-combinations we should get the amount of the remaining packages in 2022.

Please take this as an estimate only, there is a lot of uncertainties, but I'll go into those in the next section.

As said previously, the results gathered can be wrong in number of different reasons as this approach is not 100% accurate, so just take this guide as an estimate.

I believe the amount skins is accurate, but the remaining amounts of packages can tend to be a lot lower, or a lot higher than what is stated. Listed below are several different reasons why the results can be higher or lower than stated.


All-in-all, through the reasons listed above, there should be less Souvenir Packages in circulation than what is previously mentioned in this guide. If anyone comes up with any other reason, please tell me.
