Description
"Welcome to the new and improved Eventide Media Center. Enjoy your stay!"

A completely reworked, rebalanced, and resprited version of Eventide!

As with before, Eventide's gameplan revolves around the Fire Danger meter. It still builds up a little overtime and when you hit an opponent, and builds up a lot faster when you're the one taking hits, just like the old version. The meter boosts certain attacks, but using those attacks also brings the meter down.

And as always, be sure to remember that the small tree is always towards the side you're facing!

SPECIAL MOVES

Neutral Special: Interface Chip
After a bit of buildup, this move fires off a large computer chip projectile. Said projectile has no real special properties, it just deals good damage and knockback. With 400 or more Fire, it becomes Fried Circuitry, which eliminates the buildup almost entirely and has more KO power. Fried Circuitry also gives the burn effect, which this character can actually consume with certain moves!

Side Special: Trypography
Makes a tiny hole a set distance away from you, which then sprouts an odd plant with an eye on the end. If the plant hits a player, they'll be auto-wrapped. The hole and eye linger for two seconds before disappearing, which can lead into some combos if spaced right.

Up Special: Triday
A simple, no-nonsense recovery move. Gets the job done and that's it.

Down Special: Controlled Burn
A small fire starts behind the trees after a small buildup. If this hits anyone, you gain 100 Fire for every opponent hit, but if it doesn't, you lose 50 fire. If any opponents you hit have the burn status, it activates burn consume and gives you a whopping THREE hundred fire! If you've managed to build up 750 Fire, the move becomes Burn Control Failure. This version of the move is quicker, has a larger hitbox, and while it only does 1 damage, it has BIG knockback, KO'ing heavy opponents as early as 70%! As mentioned, though, it costs a lot of Fire, so use it wisely.

OTHER NOTABLE MOVES

Down Strong
This move is two in one: Below 300 fire, it's a plant move that auto-wraps like FSpecial. With 300 or more fire, it becomes a quicker, fire-based move that inflicts the burn status!

Forward Tilt
This is another move that becomes a different one if you have enough fire. If you hit a burned opponent with it, it activates burn consume and grants you a hefty amount of fire.
