Description
Bupmelon finagles his way into Rivals of Aether!

Bupmelon is a wacky take on a stick figure, complete with Microsoft SAM for a voice, spindly limbs, and a strange obsession with Snow Miser? (I can't even explain that one tbh lol) He's a rushdown grappler with minimal stage control and low disjoint, made up for thanks to one little trick - special cancelling!

Main Gimmick: Special Cancelling

Bupmelon can cancel any non-special attack on hit into a special move, even on Strong attacks! You can cancel multiple times per airtime, but getting more than one can be pretty tricky.

Specials

Neutral Special: Snow Miser Spin
Bupmelon rapidly spins, multi-hitting the opponent and stalling his aerial momentum. The direction the opponent gets launched depends on what side of Bupmelon they're on during the final hit. You can also fall faster during NSpecial by holding Down.

Forward Special: Boyoing
A quick leap that can be quickly attack/jump cancelled. You can only use this move once per airtime, but the benefits it provides, especially out of a special cancel, are tremendously high.

Up Special: Bupcopter
Bupmelon turns into a helicopter, sprouting blades on his head and launching upwards. Afterwards, Bupmelon will glide in the air until they land on the ground. You can also press down to fall faster, though this also puts you into pratfall.

Down Special: Crash Landing
Bupmelon attempts to grab the opponent, stalling their aerial momentum. If the grab lands, Bupmelon will perform a powerful pile drive that deals more damage the farther the opponent gets dropped!
NOTE: This move puts Bupmelon into pratfall if done in the air. Also while the hitbox has a lot of active frames, it's also really small, requiring a good amount of precision to land it.

Down Special 2: IT'S WIZARD TIME
By doing a Quarter-circle input during Down Special's startup, he instead shoots a fireball! This is a pretty simple and weak projectile, but it acts as the one bit of stage control at his disposal.

Special thanks to..
- McDucky once again for helping out with some of the grab code! (She's awesome, go play her characters too c:)
- The TGP community for assisting with playtesting, bugfixes, and a bit of moveset design!
- You! Thank you for downloading and playing the character! It really means a lot to me ^^

re: Chrome: Yep! It uses the same variable as Seasonal skins in the base game do, so it only shows up for a quarter of the year

re: stick: Similar situation, but WAY less avoidable than a secret taunt lol.

re: FierceKirby88: Mostly cuz it was too loud and obnoxious lol. Plus I just think the Aaugh is funnier, and having it be super quick makes it extra trolly mid-match.

Why did you get rid of the bup taunt?
