If it would continue at that speed it would take more than a year, it's not fake, it's a screenshot. But the speed fluctuates.

I wish you luck on getting this fixed, nobody should have to go through so much to fix a bug like this that causes so many problems.

I've actually had this since I first downloaded team fortress 2 more than 2 years ago, I've always had it, it wasn't until a few months ago I realized that not everyone has this problem with steam. I can play games on any other device, while listening to a youtube video just fine. Just not steam. I guess I'll send them a ticket.

Are you able to download things from places other than Steam just fine? Because if you are able to the best thing I could tell you to do now is to contact Steam Support and see if they know a fix, but this bug seems to become more and more common now I guess, hopefully it gets fixed soon.
