Only MOD required is Tree Anarchy because this map exceeded the tree limit

Seychelles Theme/LUT


Moon Bay is a Temperate themed map with 57% Buildable Area

Features:
- Lots of coastal areas
- Lots of Buildable Area
- All resources
- All outside connections


Note: There are 2 water sources on the starting tile to push sewage out to the sea so be careful when adjusting the coast terrain on the start tile.

And also if you plan to build something massive I suggest you delete some trees using the forest brush to ensure a smooth gameplay because there is a lot of trees in here.

btw, is there a recommended lighting setup for this map? Seychelles LUT on it's own is far too bright, I used Render It to halve the intensity, and I temporarily switched to something else, because all the deep reds got turned into bright oranges. I even checked other maps using the theme, but most of them use "outdated" visual mods. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi @Kartabass Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying this map. This map was one of my favorites to make. The inspiration came one night after a dream and this shape came to mind (droplet of water)

I recently went on a rant elsewhere why I came to love this map so much and thought I might as well show some of that appreciation here. Thank you Artifis, so much, for all the time, effort and love you put into this. I still discover new details every day. Every corner of the map is carefully crafted. The vistas are amazing. All the areas are almost inviting you to build there. Just... Chef's kiss :*

I just took a spin around the map. You are about to become my new favorite vanilla map maker! I can easily envision mulitple types of builds on this one. And I like the highway-lite touch so that I can add my own. Keep this up!!!!!

@jcybob Thanks, I've played with this map for awhile and it ran smoothly, I'm using a laptop NVIDIA 1660Ti, i7 , 16gb RAM. You're gonna have to demolish most of the trees anyways when you build as it is scattered all over the map
