I mean, let me just go ahead and list some of the things on my terrible Walmart laptop stand for my terrible Toshiba Satellite. On the left I have two random Shopkins for whatever reason. Then strait infront of me there's my rocking Matchbox Miller Beer Peterbilt semi on display stand. On the right side of that is some kinda pre-historic LG phone which doesn't work. And on the very far right is a smol Lego skyscraper I built that looks kinda like the empire state building. I could keep going further on to the right where the Bose Wave System is, but that's a different shelving unit.

clean. Minimalist. Plain. Very modern.
But you see, you lack one important thing for your room. Personal touch. I think edoa has it right.

Man... I couldn't stand that plainness. I'd have a multitude of shelving above and around with all sorts of odds and ends things.
