siege are a special mode, which you could lead your troops into siege battle ageist enemy heroes.

the very basic thing are the hero choice, which I personal recommend one or two archers or raiders max.

6 vs 5 recommend one archer or raider
8 vs 10 recommend two archer or raider (total don't more than 3)

for the siege battle below I list out the useful heroes.

Alexander: the phalanx formation allow it's hold the choke point, easy the best hero to hold the lane, he also could summon a horse.

Edward I:the plant stakes would hold the lane which is vulnerable for archer to fight.


the basic role are below
warrior(lance) anti raider
warrior(normal) anti archers
raider anti archers and warrior(normal)
archers didn't anti, keeping survive = time for it's dps output

Frederick I:the tough warrior, most of time player use the victory rush to push out the Alexanders wall, kind of counter it's.

Diao chan: have the basic of shield turtle formation, which rise your troops shield, very easy for everyone since all player had this hero.

Caesar: have the defense order testudo formation, which protect your troops with rise shield, also you could order troops to throw the javelin.
