Controller Fix

Instead of wasting your time trying to figure out why your controller isnt working in game by messing with the controller configuration, using 3rd party software or opening steams big picture mode, heres a quick fix for the game to detect your controller

Step 1

Make sure your controller is off, if not, disconnect/turn it off (if its wireless press the "Guide" button for 10 seconds)

Step 2

Launch the game and choose Launch Open launcher

Step 3

Once the launcher window opens, plug in/turn on your controller, then click on Play Game

Notes

And thats it, pretty easy and straight forward fix, but not so easy to figure out. Sadly, you will have to do this extra step every time you launch the game.

its ok, mmm if you are on windows try unpairing and pairing your controller again, but if its the only game not working on you should try using ds4windows.

Yea i tried that multiple times as well. Maybe im just dumb lol

if it didnt work, launch in big picture mode, thats probably the best "solution" but i dislike opening it just for a single game so i decided to make this guide with a different fix.
