How To Launch

To properly spawn this model you have to:
  1. Go to the Advanced Settings of the world
  2. Turn on Scripts
  3. Go to the Mod Settings of the world
  4. Add listed Mods
  5. Launch the world
  6. Spawn the model via F10 menu
Try to repeat this process and make sure that you did everything correctly and didn't forget about anything.

    I also have a *ton* of vehicles that are fully working if you want more background decor - I have a cruiser, battlecruiser, support carrier, a carrier that was inspired by WW1 American carriers, a supercarrier that's larger than anything on the workshop and is fully modeled and working, tons of NATO-esque tanks (i've uploaded one if you want to check it out, but i have many many more i have yet to upload that are fully done, i'm just too lazy to take screenshots), Russian-esque tanks, all that good stuff. Really just waiting on my friend to have the time to upload them, since he has a huge library of vehicles on the workshop and has a bit of a following. Been building spaceships for him for a couple years now, but he's never uploaded anything of mine :/ starting to upload stuff myself since I'm just tired of waiting.

    I mean, I'm a massive nerd for military vehicles. It's all I really think about, so of course I love high-fidelity models in a game I love building stuff in. I studied Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering for a year in college, but dropped out due to the cost - so I've been building ships, tanks, SPAA's, IFV's, AFV's, pretty much everything except for planes, since I do have a world with **tons** of replicas and original designs, but yours blew them out of the water so I just stopped making them. I make all this stuff because I love learning about how and why things are designed the way they are, and starting from the ground up is just the best way to do that.

    @LazyLime I am surprised to see anybody being so dedicated to my replicas, lol. On topic of missiles - I recently decided to change the settings on designators, so they can target only small grid. At least in my experience, they are practically useless against any large grids in existence. If it's the small grid that you can't lock onto - designators require clear line of sight, which means that the target should be in the lower 180 of the wing. F/A-38B specifically requires to open the bay first, and only then the missile can be launched. It effectively acts as a manual safety.

    And yes, F-15STOL/MTD has 2 long range missiles. They could be made into a separate FCS, but tbh, I was just lazy. Will try to update them this week, but no guarantees.

    I've also noticed, since I like testing out my carriers and end up flying a ton of your planes to do so, that a lot of the Sukhois and the F-38 only have their "radar" working 1/3rd of the time. I don't know if this is fixable, but it completely prevents the firing of missiles, which is a huge "oh fuck" moment when you're intercepting a large mothership only to get into missile range and not have any missiles to launch. I can compile a list of the planes that work and don't work, if you'd like. I've got nothing going on, so I have the time lol.

    Also, do the larger missiles on this aircraft actually fly further? If so, it'd be super helpful to be able to launch those independently.

    It can be done IRL, gun pods are dropped fairly frequently, it's done when you need that extra bit of acceleration or energy retention in a fight or to flee, since gun pods absolutely destroy your flight performance. We don't use gun pods all that frequently anymore, and the only ones we don't drop are GAU pods, since we don't want any enemy states having those to reproduce in planes or for SPAA's.

    Anywho, thanks for fixing the bug! - having the balance disrupted so extremely made carrier landings almost impossible

    @LazyLime just fixed. Huge thanks for finding and reporting the bug. I would add the option to drop the gunpod, but I honestly don't think it can be done IRL. If you want, you can just add a detach block toggle on/off to the cockpit yourself.

    Noticed an issue - when you try to drop your tanks, it drops your right tank and your central gun pod. It'd also be neat to be able to drop your gun pod when you run out of ammo.
