I think its funny so you should keep it in.
Like... How?
To fix this, try to run your game in -console, it worked for me, i am able to play the game with M4 with no issues.
*For those who don't know how to do this
1) Go to your library, right click on black mesa and click on properties.
2) At the most bottom of the advanced run type '-console'.
3) Run your game. In case if it still not works then contact to Citizen5 to fix the issue about the absence of the gun model file which does not appear in the respective folder, even I subscribe.
