"Dark Sun: Shattered Lands" (1993) uses the antiquated physical booklet to prevent piracy. It was NOT included with the documentation in this Steam version. Reference this table to bypass its copy protection measures.

Yes, the included manual is not the cipher.

The game's copyright protection is based on the "Manual-ENG.pdf" file available from the game launcher. However, due to the PDF not retaining all the of the original typography, the first few of these challenges are incorrect.

I suspect that localization/translation issues would also exist.
