BetterTorches - Torches by pressing a key

解説
Are you also tired of having to search for the torch in your inventory before you can equip or uneqip it? Do you wish that you could simply equip and unequip it by pressing a key? Well, then this is the patch that you are looking for!

It allows you to equip and unequip torches by just pressing a key, which you can even change yourself in the game controls.

But not only that!

Did you ever notice that torches do disappear when loading a savegame in which you had a torch in your hand before saving? This is a bug that Piranha Bytes introduced in Gothic 2. Equipped torches are not getting written into the savegame anymore. This patch fixes that problem! That means you will never have to worry again about loosing a equipped torch while saving your game.

So... Is that all? Not yet! There is still one more thing that this patch does. You have maybe already noticed, that you can't simply unequip a torch anymore, when only having one torch, because after equipping her, she will disappear from the inventory. That means that you'll have to draw your weapon so that the hero drops the burning torch to the ground. Well, this patch also takes care of that! Just press the key, which equips / unequips a torch and you will get her back into your inventory!

Compatible with Gothic 1 and Gothic 2 and normally with any modification, that does not disable the patch manually.

German, English and Polish is supported. Simply launch the game with the patch enabled, it will automatically check and set your language.

You'll need Ninja to use this patch!

"Hast du mal bemerkt, dass Fackeln nach dem Laden eines Spielstandes verschwinden, in dem du vor dem Speichern eigentlich noch eine eine Fackel in deiner Hand hattest? Das ist ein Bug, den Piranha Bytes in Gothic 2 eingeführt hat" Das Problem gab es auch schon in Gothic 1 und es ging mir hart auf die Eier. Danke für die Mod.
