Ostrumian Table of Exotic Elements
By Jay
A list of the Ostrumian's periodic table of Exotic Elements. Each of these elements is bound to at least 1 quantum particle known as a Exotitron. Group 1 elements have 1 Exotitron, group 2 elements have 2 etc. Each element going down has 1 more proton than the last. Inmutatium has 1 more proton than Contraurium etc. The number of protons resets upon reaching a new group.

This is for lore for one of my mods, the Ostrumian Federation.

-= GROUP 1 =-
Contraurium - An incredibly explosive crystalline element. Its explosions are incredibly hot, rather than concussive. Relatively rare.

Inmutatium - A crystalline element that is a near-perfect insulator for both heat and electricity. Relatively uncommon.

Multavinium - A crystal that is capable of making 6-way bonds under regular conditions. It is a magnetic material and more importantly a superconductor at regular temperatures. Usually found underground near the mantle of planets, but in these places the element is somewhat plentiful.

Magnystium - A metalloid that is hydrophobic. It is a rather soft metal, and is relatively rare.

Infragium - A metalloid element that is stronger than lonsdaleite, but a bit more heavy than steel. It is very bad at conducting heat and electricty. Unreactive and quite rare.
-= GROUP 2 =-
Obstructonium - A metalloid that reflects neutrons better than Beryllium, and blocks radiation incredibly well. Rare.

Aestusium - A metal that conducts heat even better than copper, but doesn't conduct electricity as well. Quite rare.

Prolotosium - A metal that conducts electricity even better than copper, but doesn't conduct heat as well. Quite rare.

Transvorium - An metal that can absorb incredibly large amounts of energy. Upon reaching a liquid state or reaching it's threshold of energy it can absorb, it releases all of this energy at once. Very rare.
-= GROUP 3 =-
Quarium - An element that decays into Y bosons. Incredibly rare, and kind of unstable.

Duplium - An element that decays into W bosons. Incredibly rare, and kind of unstable.

Ferrumitanium - An element that decays into gluons. Absurdly rare, and quite unstable.
-= GROUP 4 =-
Luxanium - An element that decays into photons. Absurdly rare, and quite unstable.

Gravitasium - An element that decays into gravitons. Absurdly rare, and quite unstable. One of the elements that has the highest demand within the Ostrumian Federation.
-= GROUP 5 =-
Lucidium - A mysterious element that has strange effects on space-time. Believed to have connections with dark-matter and dark-energy. Only found if made artificially. Very unstable.

yup, there's lore for a mod in people playground. fun.

They are referenced in the descriptions of some items. I will add ore versions for some of them eventually
Blasta_Masta369 2 Mar, 2023 @ 3:17pm
will these eventually get into the mod?

thanks

1: Yes
2: The exotic particles aren't attached to the protons and neutrons when it decays
3: By bombarding Luxanium with exotitrons
4: Sci-fi magic

Here's a couple of questions:
Is obstructonium better at reflecting free neutron particles than beryllium? If so it could make for some very nice nuclear weapon components. Do group three and four elements decay into their respective particles with any other particles attached? How is lucidium made and how radioactive is it? How do transvorium's energetic properties work?

This is cool i like chemistry but what is it lol

ok

i wasn't happy with it and it was honestly just an impractical weapon

why did you delete the electric gun thing?
