Description
Tired of the Dwarves finding mutual long-standing peace with Skaven and the Greenskins, their most hated and mortal enemies? Maybe you're not comfortable with the idea of the Dark Elves allying themselves with their High Elf kin? Fear not, this mod is for you!

This is an update of my popular Warhammer II Loreful Diplomacy mod. The changes contained in this mod have been made to better fit the game within my own interpretation as to how the Warhammer Fantasy world works. Hopefully it also scratches the itch for some of you out there too!

What does this mod do? It modifies the diplomatic actions a faction, or culture, can make.
For example, the Empire culture is incapable of sending 'Non Aggression Pacts' to any number of the Skaven culture group. The Dwarven culture group cannot invite Skaven, Greenskins or the Vampire Coast in to one of their wars. Beastmen will only ally themselves with fellow Children of Chaos (Skaven, also!), Chaos, Greenskins and Norsca. There have been sweeping changes made to all cultures and factions, specific details can be found in the pinned thread in the discussion board.

As a new addition to the mod for Warhammer III, I have also made minor amendments to the cultural_relations table. The Ogre Kingdoms, for example, no longer have a bizaare -40 aversion with every other faction. Their relations have been normalised at '0' with every cultural group, except for Chaos, and the Children of Chaos. I have made further amendments in a similar manner for my Warhammer II mod, but I am yet to port these over to Warhammer III. I will do so when we come nearer to the 'Immortal Empires' release.

Save friendly, feel free to enable/disable during a campaign.

If you have any suggestions for future updates, please do comment and let me know. I am particularly interested in making small adjustments for factions within a culture, whereby they buck the trend and go against their encompassing culture (eg; Morathi and the Dark Elves, or Azhag and the Undead).

Enjoy!

@general Brooks

I've done the edits personally, its a fairly simple change in the script in RPFM if you're comfortable doing it? I just added:

cm:force_diplomacy("culture:wh_main_emp_empire", "culture:wh3_main_ogr_ogre_kingdoms", "join war", true, true, true);

to each faction I wanted to be able to invite them, changing the first faction name to match each faction obv. Not sure if it'll work perfectly but I'm fairly sure it will :)

Love the mod, been using it for years, but I'm surprised at not being able to invite ogres to wars as lots of order factions. Ogres are known for their mercenary ways so being able to pay them to fight your enemies seems entirely in keeping with the lore to me?

In Warhammer it is "Dwarfen" not "Dwarven"

I'm not that immersed in lore but Cathay not being able to ally with Ogres seems weird. Western Cathay has several skills for Ogres for example? Is it not lore accurate?

Here is a suggestion!

I think Cathay should be able to ally with Ogres, and if not at least the Western Cathay definetly should.

mazdamundi and morathi have positive relations which makes no sense

probably a weird mod incompatibility but im playing chaos dwarves and all the bretonians on the map have +100 affinity to me xD
is it supposed to be -100?

hi, is it intentional that the ogre kingdom relations are unilateral? as in they can ally with other order factions but when playing as other factions you cannot send them alliance requests? if so could i suggest that maybe Zhao Ming could be able to ally with Greasus because they're pretty chill with each other in the lore. also (im not sure how hard this would be) it would be cool for this mod to have MCT options so that people could customise it to be how they want without going against your vision of the mod.

Hi, im playing a bit with Tomb Kings lately and I feel that Khalida should be more open to deal with some of the order factions, her gamplay bonuses and lore fit the idea that she is the most open of the Tomb Kings to deal with others.

Hi all.
Not sure, I'll have to double-check again... maybe something has changed in the last couple of updates.
