Overview

Open "Manage Model" window

Clone a new dog

Edit the new dog

Switch to Custom skin tab page and browse the skin file

Edit the skin image file and save

Update skin

Update preview image file

Submit to Workshop

Open "Manage Model" window

Righ-click the DesktopDog's tray icon menu and select "Manage Model" menu item or Just click the DesktopDog's tray icon to open the "Manage Model" window

Clone a new dog

Right-Click a dog in the list of "Model>Installed" to popup menu,select the menu item "Clone" to clone a new dog to custum skin.

Edit the new dog

Right-Click the new dog in the list of "Model>Installed" to popup menu,select the menu item "Edit" to open the Edit window.

Switch to Custom skin tab page and browse the skin file

Click the "Custom Skin" text to switch to custom skin tab page.

Click the "Edit Skin" button to open the folder to browse the skin file "skin.png" in Explorer

Edit the skin image file and save

Open the skin.png image file with image editing software(etc photoshop), modify and save it

Update skin

Update skin by click the "Refresh" button

Update preview image file

Make a JPG image file of new skin as preview file.
Drag&drop the JPG preview file to the "Edit Model" window's preview image area to replace it.
Click the "Apply"button to save and close.

Submit to Workshop

Right-Click the dog in the list of "Model>Installed" to popup menu,select the menu item "Submit to Workshop" to upload to Workshop
