This error appears after completing character creation and the first cutscene.
I also happened to make this mistake (and I saw that I am not even the only one). I contacted support immediately and fortunately they managed to find a solution (use a VPN), so it seemed right to create a guide to try to inform you about what I was advised to do to solve this problem (which did not depend on neither from them, nor from me).

As mentioned in the introduction, this problem can have different causes. By contacting support, I was given several tips to try to solve this problem:

• Restart the modem by keeping it off for about 5 minutes.
  
• Restart the PC.
  
• Check the integrity of the files via Steam.
  
• Disable IPV6 in the network settings. Just go to Computer (or Control Panel) Settings>Network> Status>Change Card Options>Properties and disable Internet Protocol Version 6 and save the new settings.
  
• Refresh IP Adress.*
  
• Use a VPN.*

Come detto nell'introduzione, questo problema può avere cause differenti. Contattando l'assistenza, mi sono stati dati diversi consigli per cercare di risolvere questo problema.

• Riavviare il modem tenendolo spento per circa 5 minuti.
  
• Riavviare il PC.
  
• Verificare l'integrità dei file tramite Steam.
  
• Disabilitare l'IPV6 nelle impostazioni di rete. Vi basterà accedere alle Impostazioni del computer (o pannello di controllo)>Rete ed Internet>Stato>Modifica Opzioni Scheda>Proprietà e disattivare Protocollo Internet Versione 6 salvando le nuove impostazioni.
  
• Refresh dell'indirizzo IP.
  
• Utilizzare una VPN.

Come detto prima, tra i vari consigli c'è il refresh della connessione. Questo cercherà di aggiornare i dati della connessione e rimuovere la cache del DNS (non andrò nei particolari).

3. Eseguire questi comandi:

Al giorno d'oggi un po tutti usano delle VPN, ma bisogna saperle scegliere adeguatamente in base all'utilizzo.
Non tutti sanno che ce ne sono tantissimi gratuiti. Non a caso, quando ho contattato l'assistenza per risolvere questo problema mi è stato consigliato proprio una di quelle, e devo dire che funziona alla perfezione.
Io utilizzo ProtonVPN[protonvpn.com] vi basterà eseguire la registrazione ed installare il programma.
Purtroppo si, siete costretti ad attivarla ogni volta per giocare. Non è un grosso problema. Generalmente con alcune VPN gratuite è facile che vi siano dei server più carichi (quindi potrebbero esserci dei lievi alcune volte), ma non è detto.

Se avete questo tipo di problema sappiate che non siete gli unici e purtroppo non dipende nè dal vostro PC nè dai server di New World, ma purtroppo dipende dai nostri amatissimi ISP (ancora una volta, non andrò nei dettagli).
