Site 4001

Description
Site 4001 is an atmospheric, single player, exploration map, with some spooky goings on.

Four members of taskforce Lamda have gone missing while exploring a location code named Site 4001. D-4001-1 has been sent in to explore the site and locate the members of the missing taskforce.

Explore the site, look for signs of taskforce Lamda and log the anomolies that the taskforce was sent here to secure.

This is my first Gmod map, so I've deliberately limited myself to using the standard assets that come with Gmod, so as not to get distracted from the mapping part of making this map (I resisted adding so many custom textures and models).

Terminology from the SCP Foundation was used to frame the player's exploration of Site 4001, but foreknowledge of the Foundation is not required to play.

Site 4001 was Inspired by liminal space Gmod maps explored by The Librarian on his youtube channel. Special thanks goes to the members of the source-mapping channel on The Librarian's Discord for all their feedback during development.

I can understand if you're frustrated with the lack of control over the eventual outcome of your exploration. As the author I'm satisfied with the tone of the current outro and consider it to be a good (as in quality) ending.
