Trajans
Trajans is in game currency that costs real money.

Trajans can buy you card packs.

If you are going to spend money on Trajans, I really recommend you to buy cards, especially these daily cards that generates everyday.

Denarii
Denarii are playing very important role in Romans, with Denarii you: recruit units, attack barbarians, buying goods at wharves and upgrade buildings.

You passively generate Denarii from your houses, they store in forum.

You can get more Denarii from selling your resources/products at the wharves in your city.

Command Points (CP)
Command Points, also called CP.

CP generates over time, you will need it to collect resource or to move things arround the city.

You also gain CP when other players collect your resources!

Tactical Points (TP)
Tactical Points (TP), are used in battle to use for example arrows, heal,...

Tactical Points generates over time, if you want to store or have more TP you can use cards.

Maximum capacity of Tactical Points is 20.

While in battle, you gain 1 additional TP for every squad you deploy or kill (barbarians).
Imperial Points (IP)
Imperial Points are used to capture Resource Towns and Barbarian Strongholds on the Empire Map.

They are also used to import and export resources to cities.

Imperial Points generate slowly over time.

If you want to gain more IP per day, take a seat in senate!

If you would like to store more IP, you must do research.
Senate Points (SPQR)
Senate Points or SPQR are generated by houses once they reach a high enough level (level 11 and higher).

Senate Points are used to hold seats in the Senate.

Why enter Senate
Being in the Senate gives you access to extra goods you may need via the Tribute Hall and offers an additional bounty of Imperial Points per day based on your seat in the Senate.

Senate access unlocks after Rank 101.

Each seat in Senate costs you SPQR, the cost rises the further in you progress (the higher your seat in Senate is, the more SPQR will it cost per hour)

In senate, you have 3 options which you can use against players, lets start from the left side.

Gods
In order to use Gods and their bonuses in Senate, you must first research them.

The more Gods you have activated, the more your seat in Senate will cost you SPQR, but you will earn more IP!

Each God activated incurs a 100% increase to your daily spend, so be careful!
Prestige
Prestige is generated by houses, the higher level house is, the more prestige you will gain.

Prestige is needed to rank up.

Ranking up
If you want to progress in game, you must rank up.

Ranking up will cost you prestige.

When you rank up, you unlock new researches and new buildings!

When you rank up, you will earn rewards (research points, Denarii, CP and Urban Points)

Research
Research is really important in Romans.

Research unlocks you new buildings, building upgrades, unit upgrades, resources storages,...

Remember, always do your research when you have research points.

Research points

You gain research points for ranking up:

  • Level 1-100 you gain 3 research points
  • Level 101-200 you gain 2 research points
  • Level 201-X you gain 1 research point

How to queue more researches

In order to queue more researches you need to play a card.

This cards are guaranteed in Premium and Super Premium card packs.
Destroying Barbarian villages
You must destroy barbarian huts in orded to expand your city and have more resources, do not forget to clear the rubble after you destroy them!

If you will defeat the barbarians, you will earn prestige, resources and Denarri.

Why am I not making furniture/vegetables/clothes/pottery/meat
In order to produce some goods (product), you will need to have another resource. For example wood for furniture, vegetables for meat, wool for clothes...

Other players collecting your resources
Do not worry, if they will collect your 100 wood, you will get the same amount too!

This means that your city is a co-operative place, so do not be shy and work together and your city will prosper faster.

Collecting others resources will cost you Command Points, if you will do specific researches, it will cost you less CP.

You will earn those resources which they collected + you will earn some CP too!

All this the next day, when you open and login into the game.

What a nice welcome gift from other citizens...

Eviction
City leaders may choose to evict (kick) players from the suburb (city).

This mostly happens to inactive players.

My tip is, to stay active, so you do not get involved into this!
Reddit
Before we hop on the guide, I also made subreddit.

Everyone is welcome, let's help each other, share tips or even memes?

Moving subrub or getting another one
Click on your Urban Points icon to open the city suburb overview.

This screen will show you all of your options for moving and founding new suburbs.

You will be able to move your suburbs once and for free within the Homeland.

You can only found a second suburb once you have moved to the Inner Empire.

Do not forget, when you want to move to new subrubs, you must put Denarii in Relocation Fund!

Urban Points

You gain Urban Points by upgrading, building and ranking up.

When you move up to a new suburb, your buildings get automatically packed up for you.
Docks
The docks are used to export goods from your city to the local capital.

In order to exports goods from the docks, you will need to use Imperial Points.

When you sell (export) goods in docks, you will earn Denarii, or you can buy (import) some goods when you do not have them and need them.

Once a wharf for a particular good is full, you will either need to upgrade the wharf or export some of the good in order to be able to sell more.

How to import goods to your city

To import goods to your city, you will need to first locate a capital on the Empire Map.

Select the capital and then select Import.

You will then be asked to select which of your city's docks you would like to use.

The higher the level of the docks, the more cargos can be imported at once.

Forum
Forum is the pillar of your city, you store all resources and denarii there.

Upgrading your forum increases the ammount of denarri you can store there (from taxes) and work permits.

Work Permits

Work permits are needed for specific buildings to work (meat farm, woodcutters,...)

Building Modes

Hammer means, that you do not have enought work permits for this building to work, you need to upgrade your forum.

Sleeping icon means, that you have paused this building from working (it will not cost you work permit when building is in sleeping mode)

Cards
Cards are very helpful mechanic in game, they can save you time and work.

When using cards, I recommend you tell that to other citizens in your city, so you both get more resources!

Be sure to take all your free cards everyday!

If you need Denarii, Prestige, CP, IP, boost resources production... cards are your friends.
Communication
Communication play very useful and helpful role in Romans Age Of Caesar.

I really recommend you to use the city chat, so you can comunicate with all other 15 players in your city.

When you boost your production of for example wood, announce that to other city members, so you both will get more wood.

If you would like to talk to someone else, who is not in your city, you can send them in-game email!

Foragers
Foragers are very usefull, you send them to villages or towns for resources on the Empire map.

Foragers are not region locked so they can cross the seas and go to other regions.

You unlock more foragers by research and by upgrading foragers compound.
Upgrading buildings
You should always upgrade your houses, they produce SPQR, IP and Denarii!

Also do not forget to upgrade other production buildings.

This leads us to building teams, if you would like to upgrade more than 2 buildings at the same time, you can play cards that will allow you to upgrade up to 5 buildings.

Legion on map
If you want to send your legion on map, you must kill all barbarians at your subrub first.

When you get rid of all barbarian huts, there will spawn Triumphal Arch that allows your legions to go outside of your city.

Sacred Spaces
Sacred Spaces provide players with the opportunity for special bonuses for defeating barbarians.

In order to attack a Sacred Space, you must send your legion to map.

Anyone can enter a Sacred Space.

Sacred Spaces contain 16 lanes, 16 ways to the middle where is treasure camp.

More on legions:
Legions can also access the towns captured by your city on the map. The towns are usually filled with barbarian huts which need to be killed to increase then build resource buildings that increase the towns output. You need to capture the stone circle in the town to stop barbarian hordes spawning and rebuilding any destroyed huts. When you see a town with a flame animation it means one of those barbarian hordes has spawned and if not dealt with, they will run around rebuilding the barbarian huts and destroy the resource buildings that are built there. The number of resource buildings you can build in a town at a time is the same as the number of builders you have in city, but they are classed as separate build jobs so they don't take up your cities build time.
