Intro
In this guide I will be showing you one of the most SCARIEST things in Pyschonauts. Enjoy! :D
Let The Story Begin...
Now im going to tell you how I found this from my point of view on that day.
It was a pretty fine day. I was just watching some videos on youtube and also, I was stuck at the part where you have to beat the big fatso in Sasha's Lab. I also thought while I was at it I could look at some acheivements. While I was searching, I saw a video named "Milla's Secret" now I was curious! The video had no clips in it just telling me how to get there. At the end the guy said "Please be careful with this. Please." Okay now I was just spooked, but at the same time even MORE curious. So I decided to launch the game and try it. It took me a minute to get to Milla because I was still at the big fatso boss. Once I got there I found a secret room. It had a little thing that had a slideshow in it. What I found was nerveracking. The slideshow was based on what looked like Milla in her younger age taking care of some kids on what looked like a Foster Home. Then she decided to get some groceries, and thats when the scariness begins. When she got back the house was bursting in FLAMES. The children started burning to death and Milla screamed at the top of her lungs...and then the slideshow ended. "Oh my lord." I thought to myself. In the other part of the little room I found some little chairs and a table. Where these the tables that the kids used? Hmm... So I decided to open up the chest which was in another part of the room. Now these thing scared me DEAD. "What IS it though?" you may be asking.
Another giant Lungfish?

Nope.
That big black beasty ghost monster we saw earlier in the game?

Not even CLOSE. So what was it that was so scary? This was: The corpses of dead children actually being ALIVE and chanting scary stuff like: "Why did you let us DIE Milla?...." and "Milla...Help us...Were DIEING...." Oh my god. So what did It look like? THIS.

This scared me senseless. I quickly ended the game and left it for about a month or so. I decided why not play again? I launched the game but for some reason it would not let me. Why? I have no idea. I never turned it off wrong. I never left it running. This has scared me ever since.

@Queen Shore
Right near the end, when you are in a balcony and you spot a central floating platform with Milla on it (or at least she is on the first time). It's a big empty room otherwise, right? Well, there are other balconies in there, mostly for decoration and figments, but there's another balcony that has an entrance. And there's a chest in there. That's where it is.

Huh. I completely missed that. Where in her mind is it?
(I do remember her saying "party crasher" though...)

Those kids didn't think to find a fire extinguisher or call 911? Not even try to fight the fire with cups of water from the sink, or fight the fire in any other way? Did they know to stop, drop, and roll when their clothes caught fire? ...I wonder how Raz felt... :|

Millas secret is, by far, the scariest part of Psychonauts.

She warns you, multiple times, that its a party crasher, that you dont want to go in there.

and then when you get in, she basically says its a good thing she has her nightmares under control.

scary for sure, and absolutely on purpose. imagine how much worse Milla would be if she let those nightmares consume her.

i'm actually hoping this gets revisited in Psychonauts 2.

Returning to this several years later, I honestly feel weird reading this. It feels like a bad creepypasta, but I actually know the entire history behind it.
