(DISCONTINUED) Increased Vassal Income

Beskrivelse
NOTE: This mod is discontinued, you can still sub to it and continue games, but I will not be updating this ever, nor can I guarantee future functionality. Safe to remove mid-save.

Raises Vassal Income by a lot. Vanilla vassal income is pathetic, and doesn't even come close to the income you would get from owning the land yourself.

I increased this by a lot so now it's a viable strategy to let vassals own the land.

Combine this with other vassal mods like Fudging Vassals for best experience.

i dont think that would be a table thing, most likely you would need a script. Try the modding discord, someone in there should be able to point you the right direction.

Hey, I know this is an old and discontinued mod and potentially not applicable to my question but i was wondering, would it be possible to add a slave tribute from vassals for dark elves and chaos dwarves? i dont know how any of this works in particular, but if you point me in the direction of the tables / files you modified i could play with them myself to see if it works out

Agreed, but it also doesn't seem to be working correctly, and I don't have time to figure it out. There are other projects I have moved on to.

I'm sure there are probably other mods that do this out there, if not, you can always make your own. This is just a simple table edit.

I checked the faction incomes and treasury amounts and this mod did not seem to decrease their income or treasury. If you really want to debug that, turn on context viewer and find your vassal in the faction list. You can see their treasure + income.

Either way, I will discontinue this mod, as I dont really think the table is working and I dont really care to work on this any further. Plus CA seems to have done something in some patch that increased incomes or something as the vanilla vassal income has gone up from release.

Nah man, checked it again, this mod definitely killes my vassals, 1-2 turns and they start suffer attrition, all of them.

I must profess that I have no idea how vassal income actually works.

Further, I believe the tables for this mod actually just give a flat surplus to the player, not the vassal. I will test more in depth at some point.

So, vassals in this game are strange, by vassalising a fraction you can actually cripple it, especially if you have tech like +100% income from vassals, it means that they are gonna become broke next turn, cuz they are paying you too much of their own money, their armies will suffer attrition from desertion, they will not build buildings, so they are actually useless if you not just supply them with huge amounts of money. So what im saying - this mode actually kills your vassals;)

Lowered the income as apparently something changed with the table granting way too much money as MsGoogly reported. Hopefully this shoudl be better? May need further adjustment.

Should be able to see all my mods by clicking the "Jolcer's Workshop" link next to the mod title (the one above the mod pictures). It's mostly just small mods.
