You are a very fortunate to have a wife that plays PC games with you. My wife will play board games and some Nintendo Switch games with my daughter and me, but big, complicated PC games are not her bag.

It's funny, because some of the euro board games we play are prety involved, but she enjoys those and not computer gaming. Oh well!

@FroBodine: It's funny you mentioned leveling. Lotro just did a give away where we got tokens to bring characters to level cap. I used one on a new character but will likely just delete it and start it over. The other tokens I threw out. For me I really enjoy leveling, running quests and just getting into trouble. My wife and I usually have the most fun when we see some building on a hill and say "What is that? Let's go have a look."

I like hearing about people who met in game and became friends irl. I know there are a few who got married. Some even went on the have kids who now play the game with them which is pretty awesome!

I LOVED my time with this game. I played when it first came out in 2007, before all the free-to-play stuff. I was so addicted to this game. I even joined a guild and played with voice (which I never do), and had so much fun questing with these people I didn't even know, but grew to become good gaming friends with.

What a great adventure this game was in the early days. I just dont like how all the good old MMOs have changed so much, making leveling so quick and in-game purchases to speed up your leveling.

Leveling was all the fun for me.
