The Kilmer is a small cruiser that relies on its width to fit a multitude of unique systems inside of it. The Kilmer relies primarily on a frontal APS railgun that quickly fires sabot rounds and doubles as a CIWS when needed. The Kilmer also has six large frontally mounted HE thumper remote guided missiles and two rear torpedoes. The Kilmer also has a small rear mounted PAC for mostly AA.

For defense, the Kilmer is equipped with smoke, shields, interceptors, decoys and a medium sized LAMS system. While the front gun is well armored with layered HA, the rest of the craft mostly uses alloy to help with floatation.
