Opis
This will replace the screen after the Valve logos and intro video
Instructions after subscribing to it:
Start up Game to install addon
Go to: Steam/Steam apps/Common/Left 4 Dead 2/Left4Dead2/Addons/Workshop
Copy vpk file having same name as add ons thumbnail (I recommend sorting by date and it will be up top)
Go to Steam/Steam apps/Common/Left 4 Dead 2 and make folder with whatever name for example 'Loading'
Paste that vpk file and change it name to: 'pak01_dir.vpk'
Go to Steam/Steam apps/Common/Left 4 Dead 2/Left4Dead2 and find text file named 'gameinfo.txt'
Above Game Update type Game (Name of folder for example 'Loading')
You can unsubscribe to the mod if you like after that.

Not sure what I'm doin wrong here, followed the steps/comments exactly and it isn't working lol. I've done this sort of mod before so I'm lost as to why this one is giving me trouble. Anyone got screenshots of exactly what it should look like for comparison?

Took me a bit to get it to work. I stuck the .vpk on the end of the file name which I didnt need to do which I think was the main issue. I also just stuck my Loading folder in both Left 4 dead 2 folders as the comment says one thing and description says another so I had no clue which, but it worked. Nice to have for sure

I've seen people put the folder they create in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\ it should be in: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2

I have no idea how this happened, but it replaces my main menu background instead of the splash screen? Not complaining though, it looks really good!
