Orion is a production carrier ship. The use of hydrogen engines allows landing with cargo on any vanilla planet and satellites.
A large reactor is installed as a power source. This will cover all production needs, maintain life support systems, as well as charge jump engin and docked ships. For emergencies, there is a backup power source in the form of two hydrogen generators. If your ship is de-energized, use the battery to start the generators. It should be fully charged and turned off.
The ship is equipped with systems to provide a full cycle of production, from ore to blueprint assembly. Use a dock with sorters to unload drillships. They will allow you to quickly extract all the ore. Four purification plants will take care of its processing, and 8 containers will provide storage for large amounts of materials. Sorting in containers is done in such a way that ore and ingots start filling from the rear container and components fill the forward container. As they fill, ingots and components move to meet each other.
Four assemblers are installed for component production. The cooking wall is 13✕3 blocks in size, and its layout will allow for projects even larger than the mothership itself. To work with the brew wall, use Welbird to assemble large structures in space, Frin MS-1 for small projects in space or on the moon, and Frin A-1 to assemble small projects in the atmosphere.





You can also use the drill ship Reaper-12 or Reaper-5 to mine the ore.

The medical station is under the bridge outside the ship. There's also the O2/H2 generator conveyor, where you can quickly replenish your oxygen and hydrogen tanks.
The purpose of ships of this class involves stopping for long periods of time. A security zone will protect the carrier and nearby ships. The ship is not designed for active combat.
There are 1 jump engin installed for long distance travel.

@SpottyTheTurtle, the main differences between this project and Orbitron:
- PCU 10000 versus 16500;
- cheaper;
- does not have a gravitational trap of components;
- the size of the welding wall is not 9x3, but 13x3;
- lower speed of unloading ore from the drill;
- devoid of small amenities;
- lower power of main thrust;
- unarmed;
- shorter jump range (1 vs. 3 jump drives).

Orion can do everything that Orbitron can in terms of storing resources, refining ore, producing components, and securing the safe zone.
