Time is a flat circle

Cooperative scenario for 2-4 players.

Features
  • 5 different roles for players to choose from that provide different benefits
  • Limited resources. Manage them well
  • Variety of different challenges and combat scenarios
  • Story elements and cutscenes (yeah, in multiplayer! Nothing too fancy though, and a bit janky)
  • Many different hidden stashes
  • Utilises vanilla revive and vanilla respawn at predetermined points
  • No mods required except for the map
  • Join in progress should be possible, difficulty will automatically adjust
  • Length: 25-30 minutes

Part of a two-part series called "The Fall", the other part is coming soon.

Singleplayer is possible, however, the mission was designed to be played in coop.

Mods aside from parkour may cause issues.

Story
Seems like conflict never ends in the middle east - an allied country had its goverment overthrown by separatists, who are suspected to be funded from outside by an unknown party. Large-scale fighting between separatists and still loyal military forces has began across the country, with capital and surrounding territories becoming main areas of active combat. A lot of civilians became trapped, unable to leave the city, and we lost contact with our agents on site. As of yet CSAT hasn't been officially involved.

The plan is to conduct a large offensive in effort to stop the fighting. Your task will be deliver supplies to a front of operations. But that is not all. Colonel Tom Brando, a veteran officer who led many succeful operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, has stepped in to personally oversee the operation on the ground. He hasn't been serving in a while, but now he's back in rank. Seems like this land just won't let him go.

Ensure the delivery of the supplies and safety of the commander, and assist the main forces on the ground.

The road that leads to the front goes through a deep valley surrounded by rocks, which will make it easier to advance or retreat.

Planned future updates include revamped beginning, more randomnes to some of the encounters and improvements to gameplay, and something a little secret :)
As of yet does not have voice acting and support for other languages.

Fun mission! Cut scenes were cool and the progression through the canyons felt fair and natural.

Hey there, awesome mission! Thanks for making it. It certainly feels unique on it's own and it has a very nice treatment to it. Only complaint I have is the constant music, I liked it for the most part, but you don't want to get to the point where it becomes assimilated by the player and ignored as constant sound padding. I liked the transitions, but try to keep it as an accent so that it has more contrast and effect when it does show up.
