Instructions

Cars can be renamed directly in-game. No Hacks Required. You can name your cars anything.

Simply follow the instructions below to bring up the text box to type in your new car name:

Choose Your Game Mode
Choose Your Location
Choose Your Track
Highlight Your Chosen Car (car must be unlocked!)
Navigate to the Upgrade screen & then Rename:

5a. 🕹️ [Controller] 🕹️
Press 'Y' to Upgrade & then Press 'X' to Rename:

5b. ⌨️[Keyboard & Mouse]⌨️
Use Mouse to select Upgrade Icon & then Rename Icon (top right of screen):
Enter Your New Car Name & Press Enter/Back:

(Copy/Paste doesn't work in the text box, so you will need to manually type each name out)

All Done! .. Rinse & Repeat ..💾

FYI - As of the August 2022 Update, you can now rename the drivers too!

Real Car Names

There are 13 cars in Rush Rally Origins which can have their specs upgraded 24x by playing thru any game mode.

Each car begins with 10 stat points distributed among Acceleration, Top Speed, Handling & Brakes.

Every 6x car upgrades will promote you to the next vehicle class category (Class D to A).

There is no best/fastest car to choose. You can re-spec the point upgrades of your cars at any time, without cost so the choice is yours.

There are 3 cars are automatically unlocked at the start of the game.

Remaining 10 cars unlocked after you have driven over a specific distance (as outlined below).

Save Game Location

Rush Rally Origins now supports Steam Cloud, but if you wish to backup/move your progress locally (& all that fancy renaming you have just done ツ ), you need to copy the following files:

savedata.rr [medals, progress, car upgrades, car names, etc] globaldata.dat [game settings] (non-essential)
