1: Download the free example file. [file.io] (made by me)

2: Extract the zip into: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons


3: (make sure it is just the folder and not the zip and it has 3 folders inside of it.)

1: Once you did everything; go into shay\lua\entities and open the lua file.

2: Once you do that go to the top of the window and go:
( Edit > Replace )

3: Put Find What as "Shay" and put Replace with as your character's name.


1: Basically replace every file/folder that has the name "shay" as your characters name.

2: Go to shay\materials\entities and replace the picture with your desired characters picture.
(Recommended: If you have paint.net, open the picture than insert your character's picture and adjust the size to fit.)

3: Go to shay\materials\npc_shay and replace all the file's named "shay" into your characters picture.

4: While still in shay\materials\npc_shay open all of the .vmt/.vtf files and edit "shay" into your characters name.


1: Open GMod to test if it works :]

1: Download GMPublisher [github.com]

2: Open where it says "addon path" and select the folder where your nextbot is.

3: Put a thumbnail, tags, and publish!

4: You can go onto your workshop and go onto the page to edit it and such.
