In Cathayan lore the females are the ones that practice the bow and crossbows primarily. Oddly enough the men are the ones that the Warhammer Wiki states "..wield the black-powder weapons of the Great Bastion." which makes it confusing as to if they also wield it off the Great Bastion as well.
So most missile units should've all been female according to the lore which is kinda a major L on them. instead of mix-matching they should've just stuck to the lore if they wanted to be diverse.
I absolutely hate these low effort mixed units.
I love that there are women in warhammer, but they should be and feel distinct, and not just be interchangeable variations of males
that's the entire draw of fantasy. making things different and spicy, not bland and samey.
