Given the crooked game design, terrible combat, constant bugs and crashes, I decided to make this guide to help someone easier to pass

Here I'll talk briefly about "not very honest" ways to make the game easier, and try to briefly explain a couple of the puzzles that most often cause difficulties

The game features a console, which, unlike the numbered parts of the series, opens by pressing F12. The console does not have the same functionality as Skyrim, but it is possible to add a certain item

To add an item you must enter item add, n (where n is the number/id of the item). You can see the full list of items` id on UESP[en.uesp.net], but I will highlight the most useful ones aka potions:

• 4 – Health Potion
  
• 3 – Potion of Ironskin
  
• 67 – Strength Potion

The game has the ability to increase damage by changing the game files, its not difficult, but it will help alleviate pretty bad combat:

• In the folder (game folder)\Redguard find the COMBAT.INI file
  
• Just in case, make a copy of the file and open the file with Notepad (or other preferred editor)
  
• Find the section: CYRUS attacks
  
• Under the section, in all "damage =" lines change the value to 100 (this should be enough to kill with one hit)
  
• Then save your changes and go to the game to check that everything works correctly

You can also run through the sections responsible for enemies and change their damage to 0, but this will take longer and I'm not sure of all the nuance

This puzzle is very simple, after finding 3 runes, go back to the wall, here is the logic of passage (to make it clearer, look at the photo):

• Blue highlighted red rune, it corresponds to the dial, you need to turn the arrow to it
  
• Next, take the runes in your hands and put them in order according to the part of the highlighted yellow
  
• If everything is done correctly, after you pull the lever the door will open

Actually the puzzle is not that complicated, it's just not obvious which buttons/parts are responsible for what

The button when entering the room turns the scarab on its stomach/back, the pluftorms lift up, and some parts of the scarab change its shape when jumping on them. Chains are unnecessary, but the logic is to make the scarab pull the chain in front of it

Here is a brief explanation in the text of what needs to be done:

• Flip its on its stomach → go up and jump on its head/mouthparts (there will be an animation where its head opens up)
  
  
• Flip its on its back → go up and jump on its back/tail to open legs
  
  
• After lowering the legs, the scarab will be stuck in an upright position when turning → rotate it to this position → pull on the green wings on both sides to open the arms
  
  WARNING: when the arms are open, the scarab will engage the side chains when you turn its, thus activating the gips around the button
  
  
• Return its position to its back → return the legs/tail to their original position, aka just stand/jump on them
  
  
• Flip its on its stomach → so that his hands fall underneath him and squeeze together
  
  WARNING: one of the arms may not turn all the way at the elbow, but in my experience, this does not interfere with the passage of the puzzle
  
  
• Flip its on its back → open againe its legs by jumping on its tail
  
  
• If done correctly, after turning to the vertical position, the scarab/robot will pull the chain and open the door
