Description
Core Goals
The main goal of my mod setup is to enable 8-man squads, fix XCOM 2's notorious inverse difficulty curve, and to give the player more and more meaningful decisions. The vast majority of these mods are minor fixes. The most major changes are as follows:

  • Proficiency Class Pack + Class Modules:
    Overhauls the classes used by XCOM.
  • Covert Infiltration:
    Complete overhaul of the strategy layer.
  • Psionics Ex Machina:
    Overhaul the Psionic System to augment existing characters.
  • Too Many Enemy Mods:
    Greatly expands the list and threat level of enemies.
  • Universal Enemy Compatibility Patch:
    Makes all those enemy mods play nice with each other.
  • Diverse Aliens By Force Level:
    Vastly Increases enemy numbers based on current Force Level.
  • A Golden Requiem 2nd Wave Option + Waterworld Etherals and Blacksite & Forge Requiem:
    To rework Story Missions.
  • Yellow Alert Lite:
    Enemies take defensive actions when they reveal, and pods behave realistically.
  • Rain Rebalance Metamods:
    INI changes ranging from balance changes to core changes required for squad-size 8.

1) Turn off Geoscape counter (UI too cluttered; just check it in the Avenger)
Black Market Usage
1) Set to "Show"
Disable Any Class Redux
1) Disable Assaults, Field Medics, and Field Supports. This is highly optional, but I view Assaults as being an inferior class in 8-man setups outperformed by various other BioTank classes, and Field Medics / Field Supports have a lot of overlap with my own class, Support Medics, so I prefer to cull them as well to reduce class count.
LW Aim Rolls
1) Uncheck Enable Graze Band (It's just not a mechanic I like).

Compatibility between Tactical HUD Lag Fixes and WOTC - Extended Information

There are no additional INI edits to be made to any of these mods. All INI edits I've made are included in the Rain Rebalance mods that I've created and included in this collection.


Known Issues:
1) Massive Lag in Waterworld: Every copy of Solace you have makes the game run slower. In normal missions with 1 Psion, it's not really noticeable. With Waterworld's enemy counts and potentially several psions, it can make the game unplayable.

1) Removal of The Hive and Frost Legion, introduction of many more, even harder endgame enemy mods.
2) Added several new PCP Classes: Blutengel, Gunslinger, Patchwork, Drone Pilot, and Support Medic. Removal of Assault Infantry, Field Medics, Field Supports, and Combat Engineers.
3) Swap from LASER Proficiency Sparks to LASOR Proficiency Sparks.
4) Swap from Psionics Overhaul to Psionics Ex Machina
5) Switch from Rulers Use Prime Reactions to Ruler Rework
6) Swapped from Repopulated Chosen Chambers to AHW Strongholds and added Waterworld Etherals.
7) Added Spark Ruler
8) Various new tweaks and edits in my own metamods. A Baby's ADVENT is only used for Sectopod Prime rework and is otherwise fully disabled.
9) Added Pyrrhic Victories
10) Removal of WAIO, introduction of tweaks of my own, and Better Repeater / Better Hair Trigger added
11) Creation and introduction of the UECP.
12) A Harder War: Chosen Pack used in place of Don't Make A Sound, Don't Move A Muscle, and A Better Chosen.
13) The current modlist is intended to be played with the Golden Requiem Second Wave Option and as such doesn't include Golden Path Revamped anymore. If you play without Requiem Legion, I would recommend Golden Path Revamped (though it does need some slight edits to play nice with Waterworld Ethereals, if you use that).

Cosmetic Mods are now in Their Own Collection to make this easier to read for both gameplay changes and character pool purposes.
