Starting the game
Geese are told the identity of the lone Duck.

The Duck is unaware of their role and is incorrectly told that one of the Geese is the Duck.

Players are given Random voting cards that represent the different players in the game.

Cards will be discussed further in the guide.
Winning the game
There are two ways for the duck to win:
  • Any player, including the duck, hits the emergency button
  • If the Geese vote out another Goose

The Geese win if they can vote out the Duck.
Game Round
Each round players choose an action. Actions are then run from left to right.

Actions
Actions are processed left to right, and chosen at the same time.

Emergency Button:
If ANY player chooses this action, the Duck wins. So be careful not to let the Duck know who they are.

Vote:
If one player chooses this action, the will get to look at another players hand and pick a card to trade.

If two people choose the action, players will pick a voting card.
  • If all players except one accuse the Duck; Geese win.
  • If the players successfully vote a Goose; The duck wins.
  • If neither happens, play continues

Video Camera:
Allows you to look at another players hand. You will also be able to see any changes made to the hand during that turn, for example if they trade cards with another player or vault.

Trade:
  • Select another player to trade.
  • Pick a card to trade. (Cards that have your color must be chosen first.
  • Other player will then choose one of their own.

Vault:
Choose one card to trade with a random card from the Vault. (Must choose card of own color first.)
Voting Cards
At the bottom of the screen are several cards. This is your hand. The number of cards in your hand will match the number of people in the game.

Each card has a color and a picture of one of the other characters.

Wild or Rainbow:
This card is wild and neutral, and will count towards anyone.

Blank:
This card is Neutral but has no use but as a place holder for another card, or to abstain from showing who the actual target is.
