Proficiency Class Irregular: Electroraider

Description
“We’ve been contact by some kid saying he wants to join. I think he has been watching to many films and playing to many computer games. Seems to have taught himself how to recklessly swing a sword. What will interest you is what he has done with those arc throwers from the initial invasion. He’s made it much more potent” Jane Kelly

Electroraider’s are a support class with little to no official combat training. They are very good with electronics allowing them to have a good hacking score without a gremlin for hacking consoles. They have used this knowledge to greatly improve the combat capabilities of the arcthrower making it a versatile tool. To back this up they also carries a sword that is used wildly meaning good damage but little finesse. I think they must have learnt how to use it watching Samurai films or maybe Lord of The Rings. Due to the tactical knowledge (or lack of) they can be difficult to operate and lack certain defensive type skills.

Irregular classes are class that don’t fit normal military combat but more an idea, ethos, or personality. Due to this they are rarely received by promotion and cannot be trained in the GTS. They can be recruited through a covert infiltration mission chain, and you can only spawn if you have less than 2.
If you don’t worry you can still use it, just go to the XComClassData.ini file in the workshop folder and change NumInForcedDeck=0 to NumInForcedDeck=1 to guarantee 1 to be promoted and make them available in the GTS or NumInDeck=2 to NumInDeck= 4 to get normally levels of promotions.

Proficiency: Advanced Combat Training
• Rank 1 – Battery Pack – Gains Breaching Manoeuvre perk.
Gain immunity to electricity,
Gain 25 Hacking.
• Rank 2 – 3 Volt Battery: - Gain spare battery perk.
Gains EMPulser Passive perk
Gain 30 Hacking
• Rank 3 – 9 Volt Battery: - Selected Arcthrower perks are nolong end turn.
Gains honed edge perk.
Gain 35 Hacking.
Hacking stats will not currently show in the amoury but will work in tactical

There is a XCOM line that will generate from small random pools like the original classes

GTS Perks
• Electroraider: 3 Volt Battery -Proficiency Starts at Rank 2.
• Electroraider: 9 Volt Battery - Proficiency Starts at Rank 3.

Known Issues
• Stats from the proficiency perks will not show in the barracks but do in tactical.

• [SOCI] Chain: Rescue Resistance Leader. – only needed if running Covert infiltration. Can be ignored if you have edited the ClassData file mentioned above.

I have problem with the new update you put out for Brawler. When startup it show

However, in-game, Brawler still work fine. Can equip Autopistol without problem and able shoot like normal. So, I guess it's false positive?

Another is the icon for Pub Brawl and Molotov became missing img

@Lanford I have had a look and added a few more stat points to aim. should gain 7. think the issue is for my testing when i had to Nerf the original stats. good catch

Sorry for late reply. Anyway, nope, I run vanilla WotC.

I look in your ini and found that estat_offense look kinda off. At squaddie rank, estat_offense just list estat_offense= without any number and for other ranks just 1 and 0. When add all of it up just equal to 4 aims at colonel(69 total).

I also check your Harasser and Brawler. Harasser look fine and, when added up, get aim up to 78. However, Brawler got same problem as Electroraider. The estat_offense list the same as Electroraider, squaddie just list blank.

I hope you can check it out as, late game, they struggle a lot while their perks are useful but low aim kinda made them less enjoyable to field.

Shouldn't be. Are you running anything like hidden potential that changes stat growth. That does seem low.

Is there something wrong with this class aim? It quite low, 69 at colonel, even grenadier got at least 75. Is the class's aim supposed to be that low?
