Hi there

It seems that the game doesnt load a controller layout for the 1st time in steam so this is how i get the xbox controller (mine is an series x controller) to work in the game without 3rd party aplications

First make sure that on steam settings, on the controller settings, you have enable the xbox configuration support. I also have selected the xbox extended feature support.

Then go to your steam library and select the game.

Then click on "Controller Support". Its on the same line as "Store Page / Community Hub / Etc". It should be the last one near the "Support"

If it appears the gamepad go back on the controller screen, then head to Templates, select Gamepad and just click on Apply Configuration.

After that when you start the game it will load the controller configuration and you should be good to go.
