Yet another fairly efficient, expert level, killer of FTD denizens.

Does not have a full IRNBRUte Industries deluxe combat package:
ie, it lacks missile atuolaunch on AI death, and a few other optional extras. It does however, have...

(i) a dual core AI, with the secondary core on a self contained main weapon,
(ii) a sacrificial sub vehicle to take the initial broadside of large enemies, so the mother ship can live long enough to fire her weapons a few times.
(iii) Rather than a second engine it has a large steam engine and a capacitor/battery system.
(iv) Shield activation on laser detection.
(v) Countersunk main prop and steering.
(vi) secondary steering and motive systems.
(vi) Air gaps and light composite armour.
(viii) EMP shielding, but needs even more on the main gun.
(iX) Hybrid concentric ringed point defence.
(X) Secondary ammo rack.
(Xi) Engine power managment.
(XII) Armoured sensors.
(XIII) Funky paint.

Subvehicle:
Speed 14 MS, - 12 MS weather dependant.
Enough useless pathetic weapons that you may delude your self into believing you are actually fighting back.
Just fast for boarding actions though.
Short range fuel engine.
Will undock on enemy contact.

The original Screaming of the LAMS was slightly smaller , and was primarily an anti munition ship, packing a 298mm flak cannon,lasers and decoys. This rebuild is very easily converted to that role and excels at it. But sadly, this versions lasers and engines dont scream in combat.
When the turrets built in armour is replaced by heavy armour half slopes, the turret will continue to fight effectively when most of the ship is gone,. * see last 2 images above. Without the 1/2 heavy armour lucky shots can wreck your day, usually by degrading the weapons fire rate rather than turret popping it.
