Project Blank Slate - Siege Monitor

The Slate Class Monitor, also known as Project Blank Slate, is a small ship with a bite truly worse than its bark. The last ship built during the Great Nebula War, the Slate Class began production after it was decided the only way to achieve peace was to send all adversaries back to the stone age. Equipped with an artillery turret originally meant for additional Project 1147 Frigates, The Slate Class makes good use of it reducing enemy bases to rubble, without entering firing range of defenses it disables with its twin side-mounted assault turrets. Apart from these, Project Blank Slate features a dorsal mounted assault and gatling turret for limited air defense in the event an escort is unavailable. Considered a master of one of base assaults, Slates are not recommended for fleet action.
