Minigames in Weed Shop 3
By Jimsatsu
Having trouble finding/activating minigames in Weed shop 3 and don't know what to do?

This guide provides the requirements and other information needed to start minigames or to allow them to be spawned in into the game.

This guide also provides tips n' tricks on how to play these minigames and what rewards they give

I've also put down a difficulty next to the minigames showing if they are Easy, Medium or Hard. This was done so that you know what to expect from said minigame.

Easy = Easy to complete, No risk of death
Medium = Some effort is needed to complete, Moderate risk of death
Hard = Good effort is needed to complete, High risk of death

I hope this guide may help you out and feel free to correct me in the comments if my information is wrong or if I forgot something (you will be credited in the concerning section accordingly!).

Other than that, stay high and best of luck my friends!

Side note: Due to the new update where new minigames are released I am currently working on updating this list properly soon. I'm also working on making a dedicated youtube video on this topic where I can go deeper into detail and actually show you if you prefer a visual in depth explanation over reading one instead.

Side note 2: I'm a lazy bastard with a chronic cannabis addiction, I have no clue when I'll update the guide lmao

Requirements (Important!)
Make sure your game difficulty is set to "Trippy", the minigames will NOT spawn in if you play on either "Chill" or "Average" difficulty

Also, make sure your quality setting is set to "Wack" or above. MINIGAMES WILL NOT SPAWN IN IF YOU PLAY ON "BAREBONES". Only the quality setting is important, the rest can still be put on bare minimum or even off like shadows and such and it'll still work.

Playing on "Trippy" with "Wack" quality and the minigames still won't spawn in? Restart your game by closing it and reloading your save file, this should fix the issue.

Started on "Chill" or "Average"? No worries! There are no penalties or punishments for starting out on lower difficulties, you can always switch to "Trippy" and the minigames will spawn nonetheless (Same goes for switching back to lower difficulties, you can just switch on the fly)
About the Minigames
[1] Playing minigames is a highly efficient way to gain both money and XP to upgrade your store. However, your store is highly vulnerable to "Degenerate" raids during the minigame since you can't defend your shop. (Hiring a security staff member on your team however will counter this since then there is always someone defending your store.)

[2] There are 6 minigames in total (maybe in the future there will be more).
(Update: Due to the new update that came out with new minigames I am currently working on updating this list and correcting inaccuracies I sadly made with the rewards I listed. I'll release the updated list soon after I've conducted the proper research to give more accurate info)

[3] The minigames have randomised spawn locations so don't worry when you can't find one at the same spot as before. (Usually they are still within close proximity of the previous spawn location)

[4] Each minigame has a cooldown timer of about 10 to 15 minutes before being able to be played again

[5] Smoke doobies, Joints, Blunts, Crackwood blunts or use a bong and add some weed to increase your high level. ("420 wasted" is an optimal level of high and will spawn in all minigames as well as just give more XP in general for an extended amount of time)

[6] Rewards may vary depending on how much you replayed a certain minigame (Usually the reward will be higher on an X amount of replays) Some may even contain bonus loot in the form of merch and stuff.

[7] Everytime you replay a minigame, the difficulty will increase in the form of a +1 target or +1 do target added upon each replay.

[8] 2 out of 6 minigames are only at night. And 2 out of 6 could damage or kill you

[9] Be sure to save before starting either "Mad Munchies" or "Red Bong, Green Bong" just in case you can load back in in case of it going wrong

120 Seconds

How to play:
Touch the shovel to start. Your objective is to find and dig up crabs, look around for sand piles within your vicinity (this is where the crabs are) and dig in the ground there. Collect the crabs until you meet your goal to complete this minigame

Nightime only Minigame: Blaze in the Maze (Easy)

"B*tch, don't go under!" or above

Location:
On the beach. When exiting your shop, go straight onto the beach at night and walk until you reach the ocean. Turn to the right and proceed until you find a floating yellow weed leaf. It may take some time to find since the spawn radius is pretty large.

Time to complete:
120 Seconds

How to play:
Touch the weed leaf to start the minigame. A maze will rise from underneath you and you will be stuck inside there. Your objective is to find the "exit" which is just the same yellow floating weed leaf that you touched to start the minigame. Touch the leaf to complete the minigame.

Rewards:
112 XP & $500 (Base value)
Minigame: Mad Munchies (medium)
Unlocked at level 15

High required:
"Baked AF" or above

Location:
On the beach. As soon as you exit your shop, Walk foward onto the beach until you're near the ocean. Turn to the left and proceed along the coastline until you see a glowing foodcart with eyes.

Time to complete:
120 Seconds

How to play:
Touch the foodcart to start. Flying food items will spawn in and it is your goal to shoot them down with the weapon that is provided by the minigame. But be careful, You can lose health or even die if you touch the food items! The milkshakes and pineapples are relatively passive, the burritos however are agressive and will attack you. The burritos will aso become more and more agressive upon each replay. Keep shooting the food items until you hit your goal to win this minigame.

WARNING: there is a known glitch where you may lose your weapon during the minigame by pressing certain buttons (Example: accessing your inventory and other keybinds) that renders you unable to complete the minigame. I advise you to not press any other buttons than WASD and the left mouse button in order to avoid this.

Did your weapon dissapear? Either survive and let the timer run out or reload a previous save as you sadly can not get the weapon back after losing it during the minigame!

Rewards:
150 XP & $1500 + Bonus merch loot (may drop upon hitting a target)
Minigame: Burnout Bowling (easy)
Unlocked at level 20

High required:
"Baked AF" or above

Location:
The location for this minigame is difficult to describe, It's spawn radius is huge. However, as long as you follow the wooden walkway that's near your shop you should be able to find it. It is important to know that you need the rideable office chair or a skateboard to start this minigame

Time to complete:
175 Seconds

How to play:
Whilst on the office chair/skateboard, touch the glowing bowling pin to start the minigame. Your goal here is to run over the people that are "Burnouts" hence the name. Learn to identify who is a burnout (usually NPC's who are dressed poorly or are very skinny) and who isn't, otherwise you running them over will not count and you may even take a hit in reputation when you run over non-Burnouts. Run over enough burnouts until you reach your goal to win this minigame.

Rewards:
1125 XP & $9000 (Base value)

Optional bonus rewards: if you hit a Burnout costumer who just purchased something from your store and hit them, you are likely to get the purchased item back!

Side note:
To get the office chair, as soon as you exit your store go to the right. Follow the wooden walkway until you are nearing the fountain area. Turn yet again to the right where you'll see some homeless camps and construction pieces. The chair will be found there. The skateboard however can be purchased from the online store on the computer after reaching a certain level.

A big thank you to:

PAX AU TELEMANUS for telling me that you can also use a skateboard!

Midori Sapphire for additional info on extra loot! (see "optional bonus rewards")
Nightime Only Minigame: Red Bong, Green Bong (hard)
Unlocked at Level 25

High required:
"Dude, wheres my cart?" or above

Location:
When exiting your shop, go immediately to the left and follow the wooden walkway until you are nearing the crossroad where you can go to either the right or the left. Left will go into the city and right will go towards the end of the pier. Don't go eitherway. Instead, keep walking straight until you see some restrooms on your right. As soon as you see the restroom, head over to them and walk past them unto the beach. Keep walking around a bit until you see a glowing toy horse.

Time to complete:
120 Seconds

How to play:
Saving before starting this minigame is advised. Touch the toy horse to begin, A bunch of NPC's will spawn around you. Now if you are familiar with (or have seen) the South Korean tv show "Squid Game" you'll know how this goes. If not, this minigame is basically "red light, green light" walk when the doll near the lighthouse is green and stop when the doll turns red. Be carful, failure to stop in time will result in an instant death. hence the saving before playing so you can re-do the minigame without taking a hit financially. Reach the two NPC's in red at the end to claim your price and win this minigame. BUT, if the other NPC's in black make it to the end before you the prize money will decrease. Slow and steady may win the race but it won't give you the most amount of money here..

Rewards:
750 XP & $20000 (Base amount)
Minigame: Duck, Duck, Dolphin (easy)
Unlocked at Level 30

High required:
"Dude, wheres my cart?" or above

Location:
When exiting your shop, Walk towards the beach until you hit the shoreline. Walk along the shoreline from left to right until you find a glowing rubber ducky.

Time to complete:
120 Seconds

How to play:
Touch the rubber ducky to start the minigame. Your goal here is to collect green jellyfish amongst other colored jellyfish (Red & Yellow). However, it's not as easy as it may seem. All jellyfish will change color after a certain amount of seconds, making it harder than it looks. However, all colored jellyfish have a purpose (as listed below here). Collect the green jellyfish until you complete the minigame.

Green jellyfish = Collect to complete
Yellow jellyfish = Increases your time by 7 seconds
Red jellyfish = Decreases your time by 7 seconds

Rewards:
750 XP & $10000 + Bonus random loot (If you hit the boxes)

@Holyvision, all good! I took no offense to your comment so no worries! I'm too lazy to update the guide so I'm actually glad you wrote your comment! Saves me the hassle of having to do research on my own again hahaha

@Holyvision, made this guide back when google nor the game itself had straight answers on how to do/get to these minigames. I'm glad people can finally google it though, just wished that it was back when I was playing it myself and needed some quick cash/xp on the fly lmao :CryingGhost:

Just for any other players that come along -- Bowling can be done with a wheelchair, board, or office chair. There's also two other mini-games added that are not on this list =)

Google is your friend!

@[HDNE] Lucius, wish I could help mate but on my end the office chair works fine and as intended. Have you tried reaching the boardwalk via an alternative route? You can ride the chair through the city for a while until you reach the big intersection near your shop, I hope that'll help and if not then I'm afraid I can't help you. Otherwise the only option you have left is to grind for the skateboard but that's way further in terms of leveling before you can buy it.

Sorry for not being able to help you out,

Best of luck

@dogmou, make sure you check the "Requirements (important!!!)" section again just in case you might have forgotten a step or if you're playing on a lower difficulty than required. Because you're level 8 at the moment, only the mini-game called "Crab Digger" should be available to play for you for now until you reach level 10 so be sure to check that section as well for more info.

Hope this helps, and if it doesn't then feel free to reach out here again

Best of luck

I'm at lvl 8 and there is still nothing around :( what's the problem?
[HVN] LuciusCantBlock 30 Aug, 2024 @ 7:51am
i have an issue with the office chair, im level 20 and trying to do burnout bowling, when i get on the chair all is well, i go on my way to the shop and when im about half way there the chair stops and i cannot move it, i can get off the chair after about 5 seconds of waiting but cannot get back on, once im off the chair it is invisible from the front but not from the back and i can walk though it.

i tried again by saving and reloading, and the office chair respawned and it happened again where it got stuck halfway to the shop on the walkway.

I then tried taking a different route, using the roads behind the weedshop, but it got stuck in the same spot horizontally to where i did on the walkway.

could use a fix for this, thanks

@Jimsatsu Oh, my mistake! I just read that section. Sorry I say the amount and was like oh snap im gonna farm this to build up my shop. I had played before but it had been so long so ive been re learning everything. Thanks so much for the response and the help! This guide has been helping me through my early game grind. Have a good one! and cant wait to see you future updates!
Jimsatsu  [author] 19 Oct, 2023 @ 6:25am
@MrWaifuStealer, You're not doing anything wrong my friend. Sadly these rewards listed were written down in my playthrough after an X amount of time. Therefore the rewards listed were from my latest playthroughs of said minigames so that sadly means that they are boosted due to the times I've played them, thus making them higher as mentioned in the "About the minigames" section under number 6. I do apologize for the inaccuracy when it comes to that.. However, I hope it does put your worries at ease since you didn't do anything wrong but sadly haven't reached that level of rewards yet through playing repeatedly. I'm currently working on updating the list due to the new update as well and I plan on taking more time to correct inaccuracies soon. Thanks for notifying me on the matter!
