Description
The Stoat, named after the short-tailed weasel is a four wheeled reconnaissance vehicle designed, produced, and in service with the Khertland army. The scout car was designed to act as an artillery spotter for the Isfet and is capable of tracking up to 10 targets at a time frontally.

The need for a artillery observer was apparent when several exercises with the Isfet revealed accuracy issues. To alleviate the problem, the army ordered a unarmed scout car that can track multiple targets, even those behind enemy lines. The latter was so it can help with counter battery fire. This requirement however often ended up putting the vehicle at risk.

Due to the nature of its role, the Stoat have long averaging times, as it is intended to assist with helping artillery hit stationary targets. In practice moving targets are unlikely to be hit by the Isfet anyways and so was not deemed a major concern. Instead the improved accuracy was highly valued.

The SC1M2 Stoat features(visually) a extendable mast, laser designator, and a gunfire locator. The vehicle has a crew of 3, a driver, commander, and observer. There are also room for two dismounts to enable stealthier and more direct reconnaissance.

I thought of doing that, but I didn't really leave any room for it. The piston is just really thick relative to the mast size. I also intended for the mast to go quite tall, which i don't have the space to hide a tall tower of decor. The chassis is only 3m tall, so at most that is how tall it would be.

It could be possible actuate the mast with a piston.
