now why long nose / needle nose trucks?

so when making these trucks i have had people telling me i should shorten the nose. well no. thats just my style. i base my trucks off of older trucks (1940 - 200) and the semis that were back then where needle nose or cab overs. it also doesn't help my style is based off of these trucks. now some day i might make a short nose semi. like a modern one. but i do have plans on making a cab-over. now when i make the C+ version which will be a camper i might make a short nose for that since it just has to move itself which will be fairly easy.
