If you want to create something amazing, that will be popular, you need to know the basics of builds.

1. You need to make the building interesting, it might be something, that some people already made, but then, it will probably not be popular, around community. (Building guide below.)

2. Make interesting title, desc., images of building! To make a thumbnail, you need some skills in programms for editing photos and creating them. But that isn't hard! (Thumbnail guide below.)

3. And more stuff, I'll tell you below.

WALLS

Let's open our menu and place some brick walls. (You can use any of materials, i'll use brick walls as example, because it's popular around community.)

Here! Now we have walls, but let's make some more, so they'll be more comfortable. Copy and paste the walls.

The walls are falling? Not a problem! Connect the walls to the ground by using "Steel Binding" in the right menu. But remember! If something falls, you'll need to right click it, and press "Set Angle" with any angle, you want it to be, so it will be alright.

Use Steel Binding to connect walls to the other walls, that are upper or below them.

And just like that, you have the walls done. You can copy and paste them over and over, so they can be really high.


FLOOR

Making floor is easy. You can actually don't make floor, if you want. But here how to do it.

First, you need to get and object for the floor, I usually use "Resizable Housing" for it. Because it doesn't become a wide texture.
So, you need to resize the floor to the size of the room/building. Which is easy. Just right click it.

NOTE Most of stuff you need to do when you pause the time in the game. To do so, you need to press spacebar on your keyboard.

After you do the resizing, connect the floor to the floor of the map, by using Steel Binding. (And connect it to the walls, aswell!)

Put the floor somewhere down, and you're ready to go!

(To recolor Resizable housing, you need to right click it, and scroll, until you'll find the recolor option)


ROOF

To make the roof, you need to do the same thing, as with floor, but in up. With using any material.


WINDOW

This is the most annoying part. You can use any type of glass, or you can just not use the glass for window. You'll have to make some space for the window. And that's annoying and hard to do. So usually i just don't make window. Because the glass can literally break from anything.

DOOR

Almost the same as the window, but more easy. First of all, you need to put a robot, to see, if the building/room/house is good, and he can walik thru the door.

To make a door, you can use any of materials, make it vertical by using "Set Angle" .
Disable collisions, and connect it to the walls/floor. By using Steel Binding. Add a pin, if you want. So it can look like an actual door.




DECORATIONS

You can add some items, such as TV, Table, Chair, and other items you can find in Misc. Category and other categories as well. Or you can put some stuff outside the building, so it can look better.

You can recreate some buildings in the game, so they can get popular. Or you can create a mall, space house, or anything! If you ever wanted to create something, but didn't know what, then just get some inspirations that were in other games, or anything you can find.

That's right! You can make a new terrain.
To make it, all you need is "Resizable Housing" with color #000000
You need to freeze it. And move it somewhere, so it can look like terrain or anything.
You can make a mountain, or you can make some maps more interesting by using that.

You can find some tools, or props to make your building more interesting.
Which can help you make more stuff for your building.

To make thumbnail, you need any photo editing software.
And make something, that makes people see your building first around other creations, and make more attention.

To make a thumbnail, you need to enter
C/D/ETC\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content
In the files.
And then find your creation, by browsing it in the content folder.
Replace the image of your creation with other one, that you want to use.
(It must be size of 800x800 pixels and it must be png.)


To upload screenshots, there is nothing really hard to do.
Make a good frame, make a screenshot, and then remove the icons you might have, in the up right and down left.
Then put the screenshot you made into a folder, or anywhere you want. And then just upload it in workshop.
