TO REMOVE THE COCKPIT BLUR:

DOWNLOAD: http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/cockpit-cam-no-blur.2553/download?version=3820

INSTALL:
Make a backup of the original cars folder first.

Unpack the zip and replace the included “cars” folder with the one in your Steam folder (most likely Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/common/Grid Autosport/cars). Make a backup of the original cars folder first.

RESULT:

Modding Grid Autosport does not risk an online ban, as the game doesn’t make use of the VAC system. Ben Walke from Codemasters aproves this.

ADD WORKING MIRRORS

To improve and add working mirrors:

DOWNLOAD: http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/grid-autosport-fix-mirrors-betterrflex.2583/download?version=3810

INSTALL: Backup original files first.

Replace the GRID Autosport folder in you steam folder or you installation route.

RESULT:

Cockpit view is only really viable if you have VR. Hood view is far better anyway.
The working mirrors is a great touch.

PS: worth noting that the blur was introduced probably because they didn't finish making many of the cockpits, so after unblurring this will reveal their true ugliness. Some look decent (Caterham), some really suck. Mirrors mod is still great so +1

Iirc Codemasters was basically running out of money around this time, so Autosport really suffered for it, and instead of finishing the interiors they had to blur them and just get the game out of the door.

works garte ater you back up folder when you copy cars in the the game folder hit replace same items and it works if you dont and you remove the folder and just put in the new one you are not adding the cars you are just removeing then :D

Definitely get rid of that annoying blur! Tks. But it shows how crapy is the interior! Now I know why they put the blur! Codemaster, pls fix it! lol Thumbs up for you man

Ensure you are copying to the correct folder. Should be working.
