Deciding to give Aether another shot, Super is back and better than ever!
Super is a fast-paced sword/fist fighter who also has an arsenal of heavy fire-based attacks.

I'm saying this before I get any comments about it from people who don't know.
Super is a Mario recolor, yes. SM64 Machinima creators use these recolored Marios as self-inserts in their videos. Back in the ye olden days when I started making these types of videos, model importing tools to change the way Mario looks in-game were not widely available yet, which is why Super is the way that he is: a simple Mario recolor.

This Version 2 update includes new alternate skins and abyss runes. Not to mention of course a new/revamped moveset, with every move being reanimated from the ground up, not just the new ones. This was a passion project of mine as Version 1 honest to god sucked lmao.

SPECIALS:

Neutral - Blazing Hell: Super stabs his sword to the ground and creates a wall of fire! If your opponent is caught in it long enough, they'll be inflicted with burn! Super won't be able to move or cancel out of the attack when activated, so be on guard and use it only when you know it benefits you! This move has a cooldown of 5 seconds after using.


Forward - Brave Blade: Super swings his sword horizontally. In the air, this move is highly unpredictable. Move in the wrong direction and you may be sent flying towards the blast zone! It works great as a form of crowd control, and a recovery! It will immediately put Super in a pratfall state after using.



Up - Garudyne: This move starts with Super hovering in a tornado, then being launched into the air. During the first half of the move, gravity will still affect Super, keep this in mind! Those caught underneath the tornado will be spiked downwards.


Down - Nocturnal Flash: This move will stun opponents caught in it for a brief moment. It has a cooldown of 15 seconds and is indicated as ready with the 3UP moon icon on Super's HUD


GIMMICK:
Not really. I really didn't want to reuse the Joker in Smash Persona mechanics from V1 (mostly because I don't like simply reusing code from other mods). This time around I wanted Eyerok (Super's Persona, yes he has a persona) to act more like Personas do in P4 Arena Ultimax, with them coming out and attacking for certain moves, instead of coming out when a meter's filled.
