Animals enclosure decorations DO NOT count and only the decorations in the MAIN zoo do count.

This is one hell of a task and its better to plan as early as possible. So, while designing your zoo with highly popular decorations also watch that the decor takes up the least amount of space

how to check your popularity?
you'll have to wait to finish zoo title 13 before you see the amount of popularity from your main zoo decorations.

some zoo managers think this ruins their design style and will put their decorations back to the way the way they were before completing this mayor task.

IMO, I feel if you want happy guests and more money from your shops, it doesn't hurt to make your zoo as efficient as possible and I welcome this challenge.
