CS:Source Sweater Hands

Leírás
"envia pra workshop ai po"

Replaces Wally Viewmodel

Well, i made this viewmodel for Practice using the Viewmodel Guide again.

I made a pack with Texture Variants
[drive.google.com]

A long time ago, Mage did a Sweater model for personal use to my GMOD Animations

With the Viewmodel Guide, i decided to port the Sweater sleeves to the CS:S viewmodel

At first it was supposted to be a mod for personal use.
but Mage pointed his gun at me and told me to upload o workshop, lol

please tell me how I can also start creating hand models?

I don't know if it'll help, but in SFM, to get rid of envmaps, you can add a float attribute called $EnvMapTint, try adding that in the VMT and setting the value to 0.

Thanks for the response, mage6614.

"gloveless variant is unlikely as doing it in the cs:s hands mesh is incredibly difficult,"
- Alright, noted.

"there are no full finger black gloves (just see the screenshots??)"
- Oh, my mistake. I was talking about the screenshot where there are two models standing (orange sweater and green sweater), and the green sweater guy has full finger black gloves, so I had thought that that was a part of the mod.

"fingernails being fully white is a weird issue that only happens in nmrih iirc, due to env_cubemap/specular mapping that cs:s uses for the nail especifically to simulate the gloss. no way to get around it other than removing the shader altogether, or fiddling with the game options (maybe turn off HDR?)"
- Yeah, you're right about the specular mapping; I just turned off HDR, and it's no longer white and glowing. Thanks.

If I wanted to rework the mapping, how should I go about it to make it compatible with nmrih HDR?

Uhhh, the fingernails are max-contrast white and are glowing at my end. This is happening to me across all variants.

Is anyone else having this problem? Or do the fingernails reflect the environment lighting like how other metal objects do?

Also, which glove variant has a fully-covered black glove (doesn't show fingers)?
Sir Lord Wololo 2024. júl. 1., 22:54
Probably a weird question, but do you have a variant that's gloveless? xD
